I laughed, I cried, this series has become a part of who I am. I've binged the last 2 seasons over and over. I still laugh and cry. 2 thumbs up, plus a standing ovation.

Quintus is unbearable

I absolutely love this show...
But the guy that plays quintus is unbearable. He is the worst actor I've ever seen. He's over the top and doesn't match the scenes he's in at all. Literally the worst actor I've ever seen. Please don't use him in future seasons.
He acts like he's a cartoon character. He's reading lines and not playing off the other actors at all. How this guy is a professional actor is beyond me. Please for the love of everything learn how to act or cast someone else. This feels like a family friend casting and he has no business being in the show with how bad his acting is. From season one to now, its been awful.

At the first sigh, the episode of confrontation. Jesus behind Quintus and part of game of flesh and bones for Roman authorities, the priests looking for Ethiopian woman, the dispute between Sons of Thunder and Simon/ Andrew, the testimony of Ethiopian lady, the accusations of folowers against Mary Magdalene. Each as piece giving ( new ) senses to familiar story of Gospels. The episode , in essence, has as basic subject the coming time. And it is just admirable the manner to prepaire the expected end, proposing new reflections, nuances, meanings. In smart manner, it is not an adaptation this series of the New Testament but a wise, gentle construction of few bricks not for explain , not only for remind but for transform the faith of the viewer in the exactly personal part of his identity.
