This Soundie of Stardust with Harry Cool and the June Taylor Dancers was another enjoyable "music video" I watched on YouTube
This was another Soundie I watched on YouTube. Harry Cool sings the Hoagy Carmichael tune in a nightclub setting. He has a smooth singing voice. Some of the comments on YT have revealed he sang with the Dick Jurgens Orchestra previously. Oh, and during the instrumental break, the June Taylor Dancers do their thing. I'm guessing this is the same troupe that was later showcased on "The Jackie Gleason Show" for a couple of decades. I've been on a kick lately to watch these '40s "music videos" that were originally shown on Panorams (film jukeboxes) at various restaurants, bars, and train or bus stations. Like I said, it's nice hearing Harry Cool's smooth singing voice. So on that note, Stardust is a pretty enjoyable music short from a bygone era.
