- In true Eugenio fashion, he plans a quick day excursion to Yellowstone National Park – an iconic and beautiful location that takes days to see it in its entirety. Never one to call defeat, Eugenio decides his family will speed through it to see as many sites as possible in record-breaking time. After their whirlwind tour of Yellowstone, the family heads to Chico Hot Springs in Montana. José Eduardo surprises Eugenio with an early birthday present: some father son bonding time. Eugenio is disappointed to learn that José Eduardo organized a fly-fishing excursion. But he soon gets over it when they both have a hard laugh at the colorful instructor that would rather teach them about different kinds of fish than how to actually catch them. Once they’re finally able to fish, Eugenio takes advantage of this alone time with his son to discuss the past and some issues that have been weighing heavily on him. José Eduardo tells his father it’s time to let go of the pain of the past and focus on the time they have together now. Later at the house, the family engages in a competition that leaves the “young people” winded. Ale reminds Eugenio that these trips are truly bonding the family and she reiterates the importance of letting go of the past and focusing on the beautiful bond this crazy family is forming over these trips.—Amazon Studios
