This short film has 1.6 million views on YouTube and all the comments are ultra positive, i guess they delete any negative comments. So this short film is about an abusive mother who tortures her husband to get insurance money. I dont really understand how this works? It's obvious that she is forcing her husband to go through these things. This time the idea was to cause injuries to his eyes to get insurance money. So after injuring his eyes she will call the health insurance and be like ''well an accident happened and my husband injured his eyes''? Because she wont let her husband talk to anyone, he is her prisoner! It's not the first time she does this so the insurance company would be suspicious by now for sure, its not logical for someone to get injured all the time.
The husband doesnt have a job and she doesnt have a job so their income comes from the insurance money i guess? Also nobody noticed that the husband seems to be unavailable all the time? Nobody wonders whats up with him? Is he dead or alive? Doesnt he have any friends and family to check if he is well? The movie also lacks suspense, tension, build up and atmosphere. We dont even get to see the woman piercing the mans eyes, it happens off camera, that's lame. The performances are decent. So my conclusion is that the concept doesnt really make sense and overall its a mediocre short film. My rating is 3/10 and thats only because of the decent performances.
