It’s Naked and Afraid, Robinson Crusoe-style. Naked and Afraid: Castaways, the latest spinoff of the popular reality series, takes nine former cast members and strands them on a deserted island somewhere in the Pacific, with no clothes, tools, or supplies. Over the next 21 days, they’ll have to fight to survive, eventually making their way to a designated extraction point, where they’ll signal a ship for rescue.
The Naked and Afraid Castaways cast includes familiar faces from past seasons, including a fan-favorite competitor who previously completed an Xl challenge and a person who appeared on the spinoff Naked and Afraid of Love. A few cast members have also appeared on other reality shows, including The Amazing Race.

Baring all in the name of love. New Discovery+ reality series Naked and Afraid of Love has been dubbed Bachelor in Paradise meets Survivor, but cast member Brittany Whitmire spilled all on the naked part of it all. Eight men, eight women and 21 days on a deserted island? "I had a lot of questions regarding the survival aspect of it," Brittany exclusively (and rightfully!) admitted during E! News' Daily Pop on Sept. 7. "I do not deem myself a survivalist. Like, I enjoy the outdoors, I go hiking, I go camping, I do that stuff, but I have my water, I have my supplies. So I was like, 'Either you guys are teaching me some things or I'm going to die out...

Keep calm and carry on… that’s the message from Discovery+ chief Lisa Holme to producers as the factual giant goes through the merger process with WarnerMedia.
Holme, who, as Group SVP of Content and Commercial Strategy for Discovery+ oversees programming for the company’s streaming service, echoed comments from colleagues such as David Zaslav with Discovery and WarnerMedia waiting on regulatory approval to create Warner Bros. Discovery.
But during a Deadline-moderated panel session at the Edinburgh TV Festival, she did admit that there would “lots of new exciting prospects” for the creative community.
“The reality is that until regulatory approval comes through, it is truly business as usual for both companies. Keep working with us as you have been. Once all of that happens, I think there will be lots of new exciting prospects about how we think about leveraging talent or IP across an even broader ecosystem but...
