With about 170 installments released already, it's not surprising that this Girlfriends Films series has a few clunkers. Case in point: this 45th Volume which consists of random vignettes, possibly saved from the cutting room floor, given that they were shot over a period of eight months.
Most egregious segment has Elexis Monroe talking to the camera, dressed in mannish clothes, indicating that instead of acting out a scene she just wants to have sex with Penny Flame, who she greatly lusts for. This mechanical sex scene represents the logical result of the recent trend away from storytelling in porn to the currently dominant all-sex format, where "chemistry" is all that matters. Watching it, one realizes that generic sex is the result, creating tens of thousands of essentially interchangeable segments of sex footage.
