If everyone was like Veronica, I think I might just perish

Warning: Spoilers
Veronica is a whiny, demanding, and self absorbed individual. She comes across a talisman and makes a wish that everyone be exactly like her. Before long, Veronica gets her wish. Everybody in the world starts turning into Veronica. Veronica realizes how pitiful she acts, and pines for things to go back to the way they were before the mess occurred. Reggie, Jughead, Betty, and our hero Archie himself succumb to this terrifying trend. Can Veronica reverse the process before it's too late?

This is a very twisted episode. Whoever came up with this one is ingeniously twisted. Not only is it innovative, but rather frightening in ways as well. Veronica is my least favorite character in the Archie comics. I've always been a Betty guy, so to have all of these Veronicas bemoaning all over the place, was rather creepy. You have to listen to her voice for almost 30 minutes or so, and it gets to be fairly agonizing at times. That being said, I loved how it was presented. I did find it odd that when this first commences, and Pop turns into Veronica, that the gang doesn't think much of it, and just notices that there are two Veronica's. You would think they wouldn't be so subdued. The finale is especially impressive. It has shades of Indiana Jones, and was adroitly done. I also liked the twist of Veronica taking Archie's place to be the heroine. This one has a good message as well. It proves that not only should you be careful what you wish for, but you should always be humble, and not become too conceded. I enjoyed this episode for the most part despite that listening to Veronica's constant whining tested my patience, which is the point, but still… I do have to give it lots of credit.
