This lays the foundation for the series. It focuses on how families have been portrayed in sitcoms, from "I Love Lucy" all the way to "Blackish." This was nice to see because to my friends and me, what was on TV was the conversation starter in the Sixties and Seventies. I did lose interest when kiddy saccharine shows took over for a while, but I'd forgotten how funny some of these things were. I won't make a whole list of the shows featured but they included "All in the Family," "One Day at a Time," "Good Times," "Maude," "Everybody Loves Raymonds" and on and on. Of course, they can only show so many clips, but the did push me to try to take another look at some of these. Good start!
