A 45 second short film ? How can you make a narrative short in that amount of time . The reality is you can't but LAST DAY DREAM doesn't pretend to be anything else than a few short clips of a life story of someone having a short series of life events then the credits come up . I should perhaps point out that I knew it was going to be forty five seconds long before I watched it and do worry that someone might be watching the beginning and seeing the credits is hoping for another five , ten , or fifeteen minutes only to experience gut wrenching disappoint that the titles are actually the end credits ! Ho hum
I also find myself asking what the point of it all is . I mean if you go to all the time and trouble of hiring a cast , visiting several different locations and shooting it shouldn't you be putting something on screen that lasts longer than a blink and you'll miss it moment ? There's undoubtedly lots of stuff that ended up on the cutting room floor As it stands it's well enough shot and edited very short film and while there's nothing wrong with it per se it does rather pointless
