- Susan turns up the heat on Mike; Orson's injury leaves Bree with reverend shame; Lynette discovers Tom's true intentions; Gabrielle is forced to examine feelings about her heritage.
- Tom fills in for Lynette at the office excellently, but when she hears Carlos plans to keep him on assuming she'll want to stay home with the baby hell breaks loose. As her sex-appeal is questioned, Susan can't resist 'tempting' Mike to have sex over and over again, until he's exhausted and spent. Having inherited Karl's share in a strip-club, she planned to sell off the 'dirty business', but after finding out Mike is well-known there waves his explanation to be their regular repair man, first acts possessively jealous and when he coldly waves her 'veto' resorts to shifting the embarrassed shoe on his foot. As the crash confined Orson to a wheelchair, Bree lets the reverend shame her into calling off the divorce and dutifully caring for him at home, but he plans a more active revenge, while Andrew is confused by their successively revealed secrets. The school entrance sage reveals Carlos's pride over his Mexican heritage clashes with Gaby's over having escaped poverty.—KGF Vissers
- The act of stripping reveals many things. Susan turns up the heat for Mike, Bree learns it won't be easy to undo the hurt she's caused Orson, Lynette discovers Tom's true intentions, and Gaby is forced to examine feelings she's suppressed about her heritage.—ABC Publicity
- Family members gather to hear the details of Karl's last will and testament. Much to her surprise, Susan receives ownership in a business. And that "very successful" business? A strip club! Cut to the club, where frat boys, soldiers and CEOs all enjoy the scantily clad action. A disgusted Susan meets the man who co-owned the place with Karl. "Who do I speak to about selling my share of 'herpes on parade?'" Susan asks. Jim warns that biz is booming -- perhaps Susan ought to think twice. Then a stripper named Destiny introduces her self to Susan and mentions that she knows a Mike Delfino. He's a regular customer. Uh oh.
Meanwhile, Carlos and Gabrielle present Lynette and Tom with a new 60-inch TV. It's the least the Solis clan can do for the couple that saved their daughter from death. Carlos then mentions that he is going to have put in plenty more hours at work because of Lynette's pregnancy. "What if I fill in for Lynette?" Tom asks. Carlos loves the idea. Lynette clearly doesn't, but tries her best to hide her displeasure. Cut to Bree, who confesses to her reverand that she had an affair with dead Karl. "He was killed in the plane crash -- the same one that injured Orson," she says. "I can't eat. I can't sleep ... I have to do something to make this right." The reverand urges Bree to take care of Orson -- even if she it's the last thing she wants to do. Later, Gabrielle and her family meet with the principal of a prospective private school for Juanita. "We could use a little more diversity," says the principal, noting that it has been sometime since a student of Mexican heritage attended. Asks Juanita: "I'm Mexican?"
Bree meets wheelchair-bound Orson at the hospital. He is less than pleased to see the redhead. She offers to bring him home, but he would rather be taken care of by a "helper monkey." But Bree stands her ground. "You're coming home and that's all there is to it," she says. Susan, in the meantime, confronts Mike. "Destiny says 'hello,'" she barks. Mike explains that the strip club is one of his accounts. Nevertheless, she forbids him from going to the club. He doesn't take it well. Later, Tom returns home from work and shows his wife a proposal he wrote. She volunteers to "fix it," but it turns out that Tom doesn't need the help. Carlos called the proposal the best he had ever read. Lynette fumes. And so does Bree, who discovers that Karen has volunteered to take in Orson. "Once he gets the divorce settlement, he's writing me a big, fat check," Karen sneers. In response, Bree forcibly wheels her not-yet-ex out of Karen's home and into her own. Orson's protests fall on deaf ears.
The next day, Lynette goes to work to visit Carlos. "When I drop this kid, Tom's out on his ass, right?" she asks. Carlos reassures Lynette that she can have her job back -- when she is ready. Turns out Tom told Carlos that Lynette would be staying at home to take care of the baby. That's news to Lynette, who is very, very mad. Later, Julie and friends watch Eddie completely bomb at an amateur comedy night. Julia leaves Danny alone with Ana, who wonders why the boy isn't into her. "There's not a lot of room to be into to you, because of how much you're into you," he explains. Ouch. Ana snaps back about Danny's "pills," accusing him of being the attention seeker. He is initially taken about then suddenly interested. He calls Ana "cute."
Back at the Solis residence, Gabrielle is fixing drinks to celebrate the fact that Juanita got accepted into the private school. "I don't think she should go," Carlos says. He wants to send her to a public school with a large Latino population. Gabrielle is aghast. "You are ashamed of being Mexican," Carlos tells Gabrielle. She throws a drink in his face. Speaking of marital discord, Tom arrives home to find Lynette scowling. "I talked to Carlos today," she says. "He was under the impression that when I had this baby, I would be staying home with her." Tom says he thought it would be in Lynette's "best interest." Why? "Because we lost a baby!" he says. "I thought you'd want to stay home with this one because she's all the more precious given what happened." He storms out of the kitchen, but not before grabbing an entire bottle of wine and a glass.
Back at the strip club, Mike shows up to fix a bathroom, but the co-owner doesn't know what the plumber is talking about. So who called Mike out to the club on a faux job? Before you can say "awkward," Susan appears onstage as "Ms. Fix It" and begins dancing seductively on a pole. "What the hell are you doing!?" Mike asks. Susan explains that she is simply learning the business. Mike gets immediately jealous. "I want you off of that stage right now!" he says. Shoots back Susan: "Are you forbidding me from something?" Understanding, Mike apologizes and swears to never come back to the club if Susan will stop gyrating. She does.
Later, Carlos and Gabrielle have a heart-to-heart about family. Turns out Gabrielle grew up very poor and she is ashamed of it. "Everybody was so poor," she says. "Everybody was so Mexican. Back then, I thought that was the same thing." Poor Gabby has carried a lot of baggage to the suburbs. Carlos explains that he wants Juanita to know about Gabby's strong Mexican father, who sacrificed everything for his kids. Gabrielle agrees. Bree and Orson, in the meantime, continue to snipe at each other. Turns out Orson has taken a new tact: He is demanding EVERYTHING, including re-heated soup and dessert made from scratch. "I would get it myself, but ..." he trails off as he gestures to his wheelchair. Bree, who doesn't want to go to hell, reluctantly agrees to his whims.
Susan, meanwhile, strips for Mike in the privacy of their own bedroom. At least somebody is happy.
