- In the German version, when Sprocket takes the saxophone from Doc, his hind legs pop into frame when he falls over. He then gets his nose stuck in the horn part, and when Doc begins to take the instrument apart, he sticks the top part of it into Sprocket's mouth.
- In the UK version, the Captain has received a present from his niece, young Jeanie: a box of belongings of his great-uncle Hamish. They include a kilt and sporran and bagpipes. Sprocket hides in his basket when the Captain starts to play the bagpipes. Later, while the Captain is changing into his late uncle's clothing, Sprocket tries to attack the bagpipes. The Captain then goes outside to play the pipes, and simultaneously plays a record of pipe music inside the lighthouse.
