In season 1 Abby struggled with her relationship with her children. Mainly because her father chose to put the kids in the middle. At the end of this first episode of season 2 Abby does the same to her husband.
She might feel justified but there is never justification for this. Both parents are important to a child. A parent might be a terrible spouse but that most of the time should not have anything to do with the children. We need more shows that show two parents working together not working against each other. Do better.
Other than that I enjoyed the episode. I have striggled to find this series on its regular time.
