Warning: Spoilers
The film opens with a woman tied to a bed and not too well. With her free hand she grabs a nearby razor knife and frees herself. She exits an unlocked fenced in room and then goes on to get killed. Rebekah Lakin (Heather McComb) has been attacked and survived in a city where women are routinely attacked, beaten, raped, and killed. She is staying with Irene (Vail Bloom) an insurance investigator, apparently a stranger who wants to help. Rebekah is a confused mess with bad dreams and wants to help out Irene with investigations, looking into private data, which leads her to Alex Chandler (Gbenga Akinnagbe) a man in a coma who is interested in astral projection.

The film was a bit confusing up to this point and then goes into high gear as the director wants to confuse the audience as much as Rebekah who has no idea what is real and what isn't. For some reason confusing the bejesus out of the audience, lessens the entertainment value of the feature.

This is a lot different from other films that have "paranormal" in the title, and is a bit misleading. The film doesn't hide the fact Edward Furlong is the attacker, but in reality his role was smaller than his top billing.

Guide: F-word. Brief sex and nudity.

Note to self: When tying up a woman, tie up both hands, don't leave razor knife nearby.
