Funnier then the premiere!
brooks372 November 2021
I don't understand the negative reviews this was a classic curb episode and I laughed more in this then the premiere although I didn't understand why he couldn't say the dogs name.

Some parts were a bit weird to me but overall, I found this episode to be quite hilarious and I laughed the whole time. It felt like a classic curb episode.

Good fun
sprice_boy6 November 2021
I thought it was a good episode, like several classic episodes in fact, I laughed several times, so I can only go on that. I would say watch before reading these reviews as they make it sound a terrible episode, when it was not.

Hope this can get better

Big big fan of Larry. But this season, Larry looks cartoonized. I felt the same in the first episode of previous season.. I'm sure next episodes will be better. Larry is funny when he is his self. He shouldnt exagerate his caracter in writing.

Politically correct?
pieraussie12 November 2021
When Larry starts trying not to offend people bells should ring. Just for a moment he wanted to send a message to the "rescue dogs" people considering dogs more important than persons but did it with the hand brake on. Missed opportunity.

So delightful!
guypop-994-4591962 November 2021
The first episode was delightful. This episode it's a little less of the high standard of curb. I loved the part with the dentist who hears Greek music and it's annoying larry so he puts on earplugs. Excited for the following episodes.

Why so low rated?
beavisintheflesh8 January 2022
I heard this season of Curb Your Enthusiasm fell off but I still wanted to check it out. I was afraid Larry David had finally lost his magic after 20 years but...this wasn't bad. At all. It felt like a normal Curb episode and of course I had some laughs, like the earmuffs bit and Larry talking about the dog's name. What am I missing here?

whats with the ratings?!?
treysolis-5268016 April 2022
Im so sick and tired of people on this website immediately dismissing a new season of a show right as it comes out like Always Sunny Season 15 , but not keeping the same energy with a snoozefest like Euphoria Season 2. Anyways this episode is prettay prettay good! Dylan obrien is a really welcome cameo and overall it felt like a classic curb episode! I dont see the negativity that others do. Larrys still got it!

Sub curb level episode
moehammouri1 November 2021
Weak one if not the weakest, it's no way near anything in the whole curb series.

Larry was the sound of reason and "logic" in the past, ie the sane one around a bunch of sociopaths, but now he's more like a parody of himself or went the Costanza way with things, I mean, raging about a towel discussion? Why is that a topic in the 1st place. Also he can't say a dog's name because he doesn't like it?

I think he's doing it badly on purpose like season 3 when Mill Brooks wanted to end his show "the producers" and hired LD to ruin it for him to never make it again. LD is doing it now with his show by himself because I can swear that he knows what he is doing (how bad it is)

Used to feel like a provocative LD enjoyment project, now it feels like a careful studio project
sumtim3s00n5 November 2021
Episode by episode this season is losing its edge. The fun of Curb was always that it felt like LD project, he had Seinfeld goldmine and no need for money and had fun doing Curb just for the heck of it, making fun of silly societal issues and numerous hot-tempered groups.

Now however it feels like theyre trying to submit to all the various check points and being careful not to push anything too far, pandering to all the volatile groups.

Its just not the Curb everyone felt in love with. It is Curb light, made for the modern woke area.

Sad.... Id rather they retire it than keep filming it like this careful soft version.

Terribly unfunny
hpcmakeup1 November 2021
None of this episode was funny. The towels, the dog, the abortion..none even remotely funny. Time for this show to try to have a funny series finale and end.

Not that funny
kesterj5 November 2021
It seems Larry is too passive now and backs down easy. Hoping season improves but having doubts after two so so episodes. What we need is a crabby whiny Larry back battling with anyone who doesn't fit his way of doing things. The dog's name was funny though.

Another terrible one
fabrisrocha4 November 2021
After that catastrophic first episode of season eleven, we have another terrible episode and totally unfunny as well. It seems like they're trying to get a new audience at all costs, by bringing the "netflix" idea to call attention and this new generation actor dylan o brian. It really sucked! And not only for this. The situations are just not funny anymore. Larry is screaming more than Suzy! He seems like he's trying to act and everybody knows he's not an actor, so it gets all so poor and bad made. I'm not enjoying anything about this new season so far. I hope it gets better on the next episodes, what I doubt it.

The show running out time.
markbeattie-508002 November 2021
Should finished the tv show a few seasons back. The show running out new Ideas. Larry David should finish it now please for everyone sake. Not as funny as last few seasons. Getting really bad now curb your enthusiasm. Should finish when big Funk man left us.

Post Covid fear?
EvanKevelson2 November 2021
The only chuckle I got was learning the male dogs name was Angel Muffin.... Strange name for the episode it was a small component. LD is a genius in spins on issues arising in toilets since the days of Seinfeld but this scene with the seat rising and falling, like an abbot and Costello routine isn't funny in this context.

There are tons of issues LD could mock, and play it on the fence...so I'm surprised with this very bland LD. After 2 episodes this season has an even worse prognosis than season 9 of "The Fatwah"+ Terrible Musical.

Angel Muffin
bobcobb30120 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Dylan O'Brien is not the right person for a parody of an egotistical celebrity. A lot of the decisions made here were wrong, but what can you do. I am glad Curb is still on the air but this is just not the quality we're used to.

Big swings and misses by David on the first two pitches: 0-2
drewtantillo7 November 2021
Despite the fact that I rank Curb as my #1 comedy series of all time, these first two episodes have not set a high bar for this season. The first episode was weird and the second sucked. And it was also weird. There have been a number of scenes where it appears like Larry is actually trying to act, which he can't do. Some of the show's scenarios have fallen not been.

Missed
jsimon050-194-1949878 November 2021
As Fafa Floheim might say, this episode was a bit of a stumble. In the full reality of my not personally having created any content, yet greedily lapping at the creative teat of my Hollywood betters, I still feel disappointed in this episode. It just wasn't funny. On the positive side, it was annoying. Sorry LD.
