Perhaps the saddest thing in these reviews...
TheHandThatBleeds12 June 2022
The saddest thing I'm seeing in these reviews is that people don't seem to get it. They don't realize that this episode is a painting. It's a work of art. It wasn't meant to tell a story the way every other episode is. It was purposefully different. It's sad to see a lot of people who apparently just didn't get it at all.

Awesome episode

Warning: Spoilers
I must admit that if this series hadn't started the way it did I'd never see more than a few minutes and then never looked at it again. Every episode is a new stretch on the learning curve for the clueless but yet brilliant Anthean. And the story grows by each frame. All of the actors are great (even the fragile minded CIA agent) and their characters are believable. Each episode fills me with gratitude after seeing it, but if anyone would've said that episode 6 was a love letter I would probably have skipped it and taken the risk of not getting the full story. Having seen s1e6 I'm in awe. This is poetry (which I normally don't care for at all), storytelling at its finest, philosophy, personal growth, sadness, joy and pieces of the puzzle coming together. This episode is amongst the absolute highlights of any series I've seen in my 50 years of enjoying film. My first choice is always space or action, but just as an action movie set in space can fail miserably, this episode (that doesn't contain any amount of action) surprised me in a way I'm not used to. And it's the best kind of surprise.

Kudos to the actors, but even more so to the script and the directing. This episode will most likely be the loveliest surprise of the year.

amazing

I've really enjoyed this series but up until now I wouldn't have described it as "art." But this episode is very much art. It's done in an artistic and imaginative way and it's all about art and creativity. The people who don't like this don't like it because they want it to just be an ordinary TV episode and the people making it wanted to do something special. To each their own. I love it.

The most beautiful episode yet...
bradwren5 June 2022
This episode is a masterpiece woven together from some remarkable story threads. When it comes together at the end, you will love the complexity turned simple. I'd never noticed Sarah Harding before these last two episodes, but I will certainly be looking out for her work from hereon.

Beautiful Filmmaking & Storytelling!

I'm already impressed with this show, but this episode is a truly beautiful piece of filmmaking. The structure of the storytelling is unique and introspective, while still driving the story forward. The cinematography is excellent!

Best one yet

I loved, loved, LOVED this episode! All the different media used was a great choice. The episode being narrated by Faraday as a "love letter" to his wife back home was ingenious.

Each new episode is poorer than the one before
hoops-850745 June 2022
Series started so well but it's becoming unwatchable.

Probably due to the series being stretched out to 10 episodes.

Can't see it getting a 2nd series.

It looks like the writer is struggling to come up with ideas to fill episodes so fills it with nonsense.

It probably would have worked best as a tv movie or mini series in 2 or 3 episodes.

Terrible Episode
fenrir-146 June 2022
I already noticed, that the show becomes more soapy with every episode, but this one was unbearable in its sugarcoated and unreflective sentimentality. Chiwetel is still good, but no miracle could save this dumpster fire.

In a time when people are seriously struggling to keep above water, they bring out an episode about "look how great we really have it" along some so called traditional values? That is a cruel joke and a slap in the face.

4 minutes of content packed in a 56min ep
asmhacker7 June 2022
Wow, so this show went downhill - fast. This episode basically contained 4-6 minutes of actual content, but somehow they managed to get it to last for an hour.
