potential for something greater?
shone-diggity14 April 2022
His sports pieces are good, but his street interviews are great and tease the idea that maybe his focus should be flipped. His grasp of culture, his sincerity and comfort with strangers and the ensuing conversations are much better than the sports side of the show, which can be drawn out 20 minutes too long. Instead, I would love to see him just talking with those everyday people. He isnt intimidating or egotistical, and gets people to confess things like a dude who wears matching pajamas with his cockapoo! Cmon that is just hilarious.

Dreadfully boring

How many more shows does Bomani need before the guys paying the bills realize it's not for him? The rating says it all. Couldn't get through a single episode. All my friends and I have the same thoughts: spend your time elsewhere.

Funny, Entertaining and Real!

The first episode had my husband and I cracking up. I have my DVR set so I don't miss next week. The show is funny and fresh. Thanks, Mr. Jones! I hope this show has a long run.

hard watch

You a fan of repurposed sports twitter jokes? Welp i've got a show for you. Always liked Bomani as a personality but this was hard to get through. The production is akin to your old high school new show. Couple minutes in and bounced tf out.

Pulling for Bo!
leewillis-5313815 March 2022
I've always been a fan of Bomani, and despite being white and in my 50s (or maybe because of it) I'm appreciative of his perspective, not to mention his sense of humor. Not only do I typically learn things I didn't know from this guy, but this show was funny as hell!. I hope it gets renewed. Go Tarheels!

Failing up
stashi-6053615 March 2022
Why do certain people that fail, continue to get jobs. ESPN radio, failed!!! ESPN show failed!!! Gets a new show on HBOMAX for some reason, can't put my finger on why someone that continues to fail, gets more opportunities.. Wonder what's next after this show also fails.. If you've seen or heard his previous work, you've seen this show. Do not waste your time.

BoJo's Getting Better With Time

If you're a fan of Bo, you'll be a fan of this show. It's all Bomani all the time, and frankly there's nobody in the sports analyst game that's as on-point, original, progressive and raw with their takes, viewpoints and knowledge. If anything, Bo needs more programming opportunities because he really shows that everyone else is just blowing hot air.

There are so many shows like this already

There are so many shows like this already, they all Make the same jokes with the same punchlines. Hbo used to be groundbreaking, nuance, pushed the limits.... Now it's the same trash.

Give Bo some time

Think the negative reviews aren't familiar with Bomani's work, or they are but hate him for... lets just say reasons. Anyways this show is good, Bomani's always good, and you should give it a real chance.

Man, this show is funny!

Great work, Bomani & HBO. This show is side-splittingly funny every week. The person-on-the-street interviews are hysterical. At last: a show that asks us to think about race-related topics without preaching!

Great show with some promise to be better!
LivingLegend119 April 2023
Great show but it feels like it goes by quick. Format could use a little tweaking, but that will get better as the show grows hopefully.

Bomani's take on the topics he deals with is intriguing even I don't agree with him on everything. The topics he discusses would probably be better with a longer show. With the short run time, some of the show does feel rushed. A little more time to dive deeper would be great.

The conversations with the guests that he has on the show for interviews are good, but also could be a little bit longer. Bomani also needs to relax a little more during the interviews. He doesn't seem as comfortable asking questions as he does talking to the camera. Great content though!
