The computer display on Roland Pike's fake identity in the California Department of Motor Vehicles identifies him as Dr. Peter Oldham. The DMV does not use abbreviations such as "Dr." in names. Additionally, it shows Peter Oldham's birthday as September 1973 yet the first citation as occurring in early 1988, before Oldham was even old enough to get a driving permit, followed by two speeding tickets the next year. Typically, juveniles caught driving without a license are ineligible to get a license until they turn 18. So if he had been caught driving without a license in 1988, upon these subsequent infractions, he would have been arrested instead of being cited for speeding.
Roland tell Mindy that they're going to Belize where "it's almost impossible to be extradited." Actually, Belize has an extradition treaty with the United States, so it would be quite simple.
Mindy asks how long it will take to reach Belize (from Los Angeles), and Roland says "36 hours, maybe less." However, the trip is over 2,700 miles and, driving non-stop, would take nearly 50 hours.
