The public has been watching Jennie Garth deal with her separation from Peter Facinelli on her Cmt reality show, "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country." We've seen her sob through therapy sessions, and on Friday's episode, we even saw her reeling after receiving a text message informing her that Facinelli was filing for divorce.
Where Garth has been candid, Facinelli has been much more private throughout his split from his wife of 11 years -- and he may have already moved on.
Facinelli was spotted at a hotel in downtown Austin, Texas this weekend, with "Thor" actress Jaimie Alexander.
Earlier this year, Alexander and Facinelli costarred in the film "Loosies," which Facinelli also wrote -- so it's possible that the former co-stars were simply catching up. Sources tell us that they were close during production of the movie, but were not romantically involved at that time.

By Allen Gardner
Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (Warner Bros.) An eleven year-old boy (newcomer Thomas Horn, in an incredible debut) discovers a mysterious key amongst the possessions of his late father (Tom Hanks) who perished in 9/11. Determined to find the lock it matches, the boy embarks on a Picaresque odyssey across New York City. Director Stephen Daldry and screenwriter Eric Roth have fashioned a film both grand and intimate, beautifully-adapted from Jonathan Safran Foer’s novel, thought by most who read it to be unfilmable. Fine support from Jeffrey Wright, Sandra Bullock, John Goodman, Viola Davis and the great Max von Sydow. Also available on Blu-ray disc. Bonuses: Featurettes. Widescreen. Dolby and DTS-hd 5.1 surround.
Battle Royale: The Complete Collection (Anchor Bay) Adapted from Koushun Takami’s polarizing novel (compared by champions and detractors alike as a 21st century version of A Clockwork Orange) and set in a futuristic Japan,...

Loosies has pieces of a good film strewn throughout it, but they’re scattered between some ridiculous characters choices and forced upon us through the narrative of a lukewarm main character whose struggles and personality are never as interesting as the supporting cast around him. The blossoming relationship between a thief and a waitress is sweet, but it’s nothing more than a flimsy excuse to tie the two of them together as they begin a run from the law that’s totally unnecessary. Loosies's characters make stupid decisions over and over, but at such a pace and in such a condensed amount of time that the writer, Peter Facinelli, who also plays the lead, hopes you don’t have time to consider how absurd it is that anyone is rooting for his main character at all. Only we do have time, because the story isn’t that riveting or that quickly paced.

He noted that throughout the book series, "Edward Cullen" comes through as a "timeless gentleman," which readers really respond to. Confession: When I started Confessions of a (Male) Twi-Hard and wrote my introductory Twi-Hard Bucket List, I wasn't honestly sure whether or not I would cross any of the items off the list. That isn't to say I didn't want to, I just looked at most of the items as pure fantasy. And besides, most of the personalities listed would probably be freaked out by a 30-something male "Twilight" superfan.
That's why my stomach kind of dropped when the NextMovie editor called me and said Peter Facinelli agreed to meet me for chicken wings. "Really? You've got to be kidding." He wasn't. That's how I found myself in Midtown Manhattan's Lansdowne Road bar at 11 a.m. on Friday morning, sitting across a table of Buffalo wings from the man who plays Carlisle Cullen.
I've met Facinelli once before, when I interviewed him during the DVD release of "New Moon" for Moviefone.

Yesterday, Peter Facinelli co-hosted Kelly Ripa's daytime show Live With Kelly (formerly known as Live With Regis And Kelly before Regis Philbin famously retired from the show). Guests for the episode included Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley of MTV's The Jersey Shore and actress Michelle Williams, who is currently an Oscar-nominee for her work in My Week With Marilyn. Facinelli hasn't openly expressed an interest in becoming a permanent co-host, but Kelly Ripa started out on the program as a guest host, so you never know, right? He certainly livened up the program by participating in a little balloon-popping contest and presenting great questions for the special guests! Facinelli has appeared on the show several times before as a guest himself - promoting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, and, most recently, Loosies. ...

The film deals with the comeback story of boxer Vinny Pazienza who broke his neck in a car accident but came back to win three more world titles after being told he'd never walk again.

When an actor’s career is stalled or they’re not getting the kind of or size of roles they want, some are able to write their way out of the rut. Sylvester Stallone famously took the screenwriting route with “Rocky,” Matt Damon and Ben Affleck did it with “Good Will Hunting” (and Affleck did it again a dozen years later with “The Town”) and Billy Bob Thornton made “Sling Blade.” Trying it with less success in “Loosies” is Peter Facinelli, an experienced, handsome and likable actor with more than a touch of a...

Peter Facinelli, while promoting the release of Loosies, spoke to The Wall Street Journal about his work and his future plans, and one of the subjects to come up during that discussion was the prospect of him directing films in the near future. Facinelli, of course, has done just about everything else there is to do in the film world - other than perhaps working as a grip or on the lighting crew. He wrote, produced, and starred in Loosies, and he has written other scripts in the past as well. He also directed the College Humor skit he did with Twilight Saga co-star Nikki Reed last year. So, sitting in the director's chair seems like the plausible next time. Here's what he had to say about it to WSJ. ...

Just because he plays a vampire dad doesn't mean Peter Facinelli can't have human tastes.
The actor has come a long way since first catching our eye as Mike Dexter, Jennifer Love-Hewitt's loser boyfriend in "Can't Hardly Wait." Peter Facinelli has been making the press rounds to promote his movie Loosies. Here Peter talks to MTV about exactly how he learned to become so adept at being a pickpocket. Check out more below:
“I worked with a magician. I tried to keep it all on the up and up,” Facinelli told MTV News when asked if he consulted any real-life lifters for authenticity. “His forte was pickpocketing, so he taught me how to swipe watches. It’s very much a distraction. You distract them in one area and go for the other area. And then I just practiced on crew members.”
Facinelli’s training clearly paid off judging from the romantic caper’s many blick-and-you’ll-miss-it snatching scenes. But don’t fret too much if you ever find yourself face to face with the actor on a crowded train: he said his new-found talent hasn’t left the back lot.
“I’ve been tempted,” Facinelli said about practicing on bystanders. “People on the subway, they have their purses wide open. They sit there with their wallets and cell phones hanging out. It’d be so easy to go and have a second job as a pick-pocket on the side. But it’s illegal and frowned upon by most societies.”

Twilight star Peter Facinelli has become a proficient pickpocket after studying sleight of hand for his new film Loosies.
The actor plays a thief in the film and practised his feather-like touch on his castmates and crew.
He tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "I was getting quite good. I took (co-star) Jamie Alexander's wallet because she has a surname that isn't Alexander. No one knows what it is and I kept asking her what it was, so I finally picked her wallet and found out what it was but I won't say.
"I would pickpocket the crew a lot. There was a take where I actually pickpocketed one of the extras and someone (watching on the street) didn't know we were filming and when I crossed the street they ran over to the extra and said, 'You just got pickpocketed. I saw the guy. He's over there!' That was really funny."
Facinelli admits his studies also taught him how to protect his own belongings: "I worked with a pickpocket who taught me the trade, so to speak, and he told me to always keep your wallet in your front pocket."...

The poster for “Loosies,” a new film written, produced, and starring Peter Facinelli, best known for his role as the big daddy vampire in the “Twilight” movies, makes it look incredibly dangerous and edgy despite the fact that its name suggests some son-of-“Porky’s” sex comedy (it’s a reference to buying single cigarettes, which we all know is both illegal and fairly commonplace). The poster is doused in dark, brooding colors and even has Michael Madsen, part of the movie’s all-star B-grade supporting cast, brandishing a gun (while wearing sunglasses no less). But the movie itself is a much lighter, more amiable affair, much more so than its Photoshopped-to-shit poster suggests. And that’s part of the problem. “Loosies” opens with a wordless montage that juxtaposes our two main characters. Bobby (Facinelli) is seen walking around New York City wearing a suit and stealing people’s wallets.

Forget the Volturi. In "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli's screenwriting debut, "Loosies," the actor's traded in villainous vamps for a more real (albeit, less toothy) foe: NYPD's finest. Facinelli plays Bobby, a charismatic pickpocket who roams the New York City subway looking for hapless marks while alluding the cop whose badge he pilfered. The script took Facinelli only three weeks to write, but seven years to bring to the big-screen, giving him plenty of time to prepare—including mastering his character's career skills.

Title: Loosies Directed By: Michael Corrente Starring: Peter Facinelli, Jaimie Alexander, Vincent Gallo, Michael Madsen, Joe Pantoliano, William Forsythe, Marianne Leone Having never watched Nurse Jackie, for the past few years, Peter Facinelli has been Carlisle Cullen and Carlisle Cullen alone. However, thanks to Facinelli’s itch to write, we get Loosies and even though Facinelli’s writing is average, it really shows he’s an incredibly talented actor. He seems to have some ability in the writing department, but now I’m more excited for The Twilight Saga to come to a close so Facinelli can sink his teeth into some meatier roles. Jaimie Alexander – Thor’s Sif – in Thor 2?
Jaimie Alexander is one tough cookie. The shapely actress has played Jessi on the Kyle Xy series and Tunie Peyton on Nurse Jackie, but she’s probably most easily recognizable as Sif, the Marvel Comics warrior of Asgard. So, the question remains, is she, and her super hero alter ego, coming back to the big screen any time soon?
The easy answer is this: Yes. In fact, MTV recently sat down for a one on one interview with the actress. Check out the video below. She was there primarily to discuss her new picture, titled, Loosies, where she co-stars opposite Twilight Saga hottie and fellow Nurse Jackie actor Peter Facinelli. So, she’s already got a new film coming to theaters. But will Sif appear in Thor 2?
