This episode for me was well thought out. The Goldbergs has been an excellent show. To me the writing had gotten a bit lazy, and maybe some of the things that had been funny to me in the past have gotten old as the kids have aged. This was for me the best episode in awhile. Much of the episode revolved around the strained relationship over the years with his family.
