Iodine-monochloride is a fuming dark red liquid with yellow vapor. Felix displays extensive footage, some in slow motion, of its reaction with titanium, sodium, calcium, antimony, sodium hydroxide, nitric acid, and gold. Generally iodine is produced and if the reaction is particularly exothermic, purple iodine vapor.—David
