Better than season 41
So far this is a way better season than season 41; however thats a low bar to meet
This really felt like a pilot season in many ways. Either casting goofs in the medical screening or it was just to give a moment to talk about topics relevant today. But didn't feel nearly as contrived as last season.
The on screen cameramen felt more like a bloopers reel if a mic drop. I know the show is now trying to prove its real (to include several plugs in episode),....but the only thing that makes me think that it's not is the fake overzealous emotion at every cue from Jeff. It feels like sitcoms where the audience laughs by prompting
However it lacks by a huge margin, that Australian survivor is doing brilliantly. Where you live the cast, challenges are incredible as is the everyday kind of people being able to do them. The old school who is getting voted off editing and dialogue that hooks you in. And the odd people with off the chart quirks is just a few...not almost everyone.
Yet again another season where it may take me the whole season to care enough to learn names and know who I want to root for to win. While in Australian survivor...near everyone you know by episode 2 and want to route for near everyone ...and for different reasons.
