I will not discuss the ending or the series, because it is one hundred percent self-sufficient ending. This is the ending that any person who has watched the series from the very beginning will accept and appreciate. A person who knows the concept and who does not expect, for some strange reason, to get a maniac, a cult or something else at the end that would never have been in the series. But as you can see from most episodes and their reviews, for some reason there are a lot of such people, who expected such things and this always confuses me. You watch the show from the very beginning, you know that the show is built on people, their decisions, motives, wrong or right actions. God, the show is called Sinner, but anyway, I stepped back a little.
I'm sorry that this series ends, I really liked the concept, I really liked the character of Bill Pulman and the way he played. Now there is just an amazingly huge number of faded and unremarkable detectives, and against their background, the Sinner has always been something fresh, interesting and which, with each new season, brought something new. But the story had to end sooner or later, and I'm glad the story ended like that. I will miss the show and will rewatch all the seasons more than once in my life.
