Chris Jericho had suffered a broken arm earlier that day from practicing the Shooting Star Press off of James E. Cornette's diving board. He wrestled wearing a cast and the resultant match between the Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) and the Heavenly Bodies ("The Doctor of Desire" Tom Prichard and "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Ray (David Ferrier)) was the bloodiest match in SMW history. Jericho hit a full 1.0 Muta bladejob, the standard used by wrestling fans to rate the impressiveness and intensity of bladejobs, named for the Great Muta (Keiji Mutô) and based off of his bladejob in his match with Hiroshi Hase at "NJPW Final Battle 1992, Day 11," December 14, 1992.
Only two matches did not have decisive finishes. Cowboy Bob Orton and Dick Slater fought Ronnie Garvin (Roger Barnes) and the Mongolian Stomper (Archie Gouldie) to a double-disqualification, and SMW Heavyweight Champion The Dirty White Boy (Tony Anthony) defeated Terry 'Bam Bam' Gordy by disqualification.
