cleverly written and well casted--even the music works

can't wait to discover how the bet comes out (to live rent free for a year) and how Hank and Eric will make it work on the "next episode" Just the right blend of humor, romance. There are Characters we come to genuinely care about... They also seem to care about one another, too. Hopefully the next season is right around the corner. Great scenes from NY.Believable people and (almost) believable situations. This is easily on par with current TV Sitcoms. Some of the same chemistry among the ensemble actors as early Friends. "Employees" who could be from the "Office". Scenes always "Fresh" You don't want it to end. We're all cheering for Eric's charming young woman, that lovely "maid"who is so amazingly kind. Hank you alternately want to rescue and strangle.

This show is set in Manhattan and has a very original yet funny storyline

Warning: Spoilers
I really like this web series because it is very funny! The concept is very original and the two main characters are very well developed. The show definitely has sustainability. When I watch an episode, I get into it and then it is over. It leaves me wanting more. This should definitely be made into a movie or a TV series because it is a lot better than a lot of shows on TV like "Outsourced." In today's times we are bombarded with terrible reality shows because they are cheap to produce. But this series "Squatters" is the great alternative to watching such cheesy shows. The average consumer can relate easily to the plot of each episode. Perhaps, the thing that makes this series so funny is the back that both of the main characters are completely polar opposites. This sets up many opportunities for conflict and a plethora of other things that can go wrong! The show is based in Manhattan. The two main characters are evicted because they can not make the rent payment. Then they come up with this original idea that they can live rent free. The friend that can live rent free the longest while adhering to the rules wins the bet. One thing that I do wonder is if one of them actually does win the bet and then if they do win the bet, how does the plot for subsequent episodes change, or does the show end? I guess we will just have to watch to find out.

Im not one for doing reviews but this show stands out. Everything from the writing to directing and most of all the acting is exceptional. You cant help but love these characters and be right there with them as they make their way through each episode. I also love that just when you think its all about the funny they hit you with some really tender moments that stick with you and hard. Shooting in New York and getting that feel of "The City" is such an important part of the series. The way it is shot and executed really makes it feel like New York is another important character in the show. Anytime you can bring that much life to a location with camera work is a real treat. Love Love Love this show!
