Terrible waste of time
robblair-8597620 September 2017
This my first review and I felt compelled to write it after watching this. Unfortunately the lowest star rating on IMDb is 1, this deserves less. This movie is a waste of celluloid. I have seen Dylan Vox in a few movies/TV shows(Dante's Cove, The Lair, Longhorns among others) but this is by far his worst performance, I've never seen such terrible overacting. Some movies are that bad that they are accidentally funny, this is not the case here, it's just really, really bad. Bad script, bad acting, dodgy story line. This should be avoided at all costs. As for the so called "eye-candy", I've seen better, a lot better. I'm not sure if all the cast are porn stars or ex-porn stars, but that's the sort of acting performance here.

Only watch if you some time to be bored

BRING ME A HUMAN
nogodnomasters16 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
For some unknown reason man launched all of his nuclear missiles in a "war to end all life." This resulted in a nuclear winter allowing vampires free roam of the earth and also witches. Dyonisus (sic) (Dylon Vox) leads the vampire group. As they go to feed off a group of humans, one human Samuel (Domiziano Arcangeli) attracts Eros (David Taylor) in a man love kind of way. Dyonisus allows Eros to keep Samuel as a pet as long as he doesn't turn him into the undead. Samuel's goal in life is to become a vampire and eat his fellow humans.

Eros is also in love with his sister Persephone (Rachel Zeskind) as they failed the same acting school together. Meanwhile Dyonisus wants to turn Samuel into an undead sex slave for himself. Then the witches come into the plot and things really get inane.

My question is what did they spend $1.5 million dollars on? Sets? Nope, all they had to do was rent a room. Clothing? Wasn't worn. Actors? None in this film. Fonts? Plastic skulls? Silicon? The opening narration was terrible. Seriously, all someone had to do was read a line and make us feel it. No James Earl Jones here. I really couldn't tell if Dylon Vox or David Taylor was the worse actor. Don't get me wrong, there wasn't one actor who could deliver one line, but these two went out of their way to really give an incredible, "what are these guys doing in front of a camera" performance.

This is no "Lair of the White Worm" cult film.

For those who enjoyed the negative aspects of this film might want to watch "Isis Rising." Or bad with nudity, "Lizzie Borden's Revenge."

Parental Guide: F-bombs, nudity, ( Rachel Zeskind, Anna Lynn Cruz + others) sex- MM, FF, MF

If you like gay vammpires.
gimailito28 October 2018
Not the worst movie I have ever seen but you have to do a little effort in order to watch the whole thing. The only thing that kept me watching was the hope of seeing some gay "intercourse" between the two main characters and once arrived I can assure you that it is not that graphic as the heterosexual one.

I mean, you have Dylan Vox and Peter Stickles and instantly you assume that you are going to see some hot content more than kisses and hugs between men. It seem to me that some of the actors playing bisexual characters were not that comfortable in a gay relationship-b*tch! you are an actor, act!-.

So, in conclusion, I have seen worst movies about gay vampires and this is from the best the worst. I mean the others I have seen as for example Scab (2005) are slightly better. But this is not a beautiful story since as I said the actors playing as gays does not perform that well and it is impossible to feel empathy for them or their relationship.

Beautiful vampires in Gothic tale
Alexander-Ross11 May 2016
Extremely well crafted lower budget movie about all the beautiful people, sorry I should say all the gorgeous vampires, fighting humans and, then for love or luxury even themselves to the most dramatic and horrific consequences, in this retro style European Horror Exploitation film presented with just the right amount of everything, and, pretty unique today with its wild tones, and saturated colors framing few, but appealing sets with an eye backward towards certain Italian or French ( Margheriti, Franco, Bava, and Rollin come to mind ) directors who were prolific icons of the 1970s and 1980s. The story is deeply convoluted, but the dialogues are somewhat unusual and new, and well compliment the atmosphere, while all the steamy sex and gore galore are never deliberately vulgar, but tastefully shot, creating an ensemble that vaguely could at its best, remind of a modernized John Ford's tragedy. The cast is extremely appealing with a mix of great looking soft core stars, and quirky or just plain handsome cult actors and starlets you have for sure already seen in other horror or cult movies. The chemistry is great especially among the 2 leads torn by a burning and impossible love that hides secrets coming from the beyond! All the numerous others are all properly mysterious and rabid like in a real Gothic novel with a biting grip. While "Orgy of the Damned" could have been a little less erotic and more preoccupied to wrap up with character's development of its many subplots and secondary antagonists, one cannot deny that over all it ends up to make for a pleasant surprise especially considering the quite anonymous Horror scene we have to put up with today, and certainly won't disappoint those looking for a sexy film made with class and truly gorgeous actors all more or less well cast offering not only skin, but also fine, tongue 'n cheek performances. Enjoyable.

This movie is beautiful Warning: Spoilers
Even though it's bloody, I am fascinated when a sexy creature cuddled the prey with love. The movie makes me feel the horror and horny big time! The movie is just fascinating, with smelly sweat and blood that mix with romance, I feel the fetish of blood of these vampires. Vampire is bloody, cruel yet capable of love. This one is more realistic than Twillight... Wow, I am breathless when I see the blood cover the vein of the vampire rough, sexy arm. Magic! The hunter whose been kissed by the vampire is so dreamy, but not dreamier than the vampire. The girl is ugly, so she suited to be the antagonist of the movie. First few lines are the thing I wanted to say, I just think this is horny freaky nice!

Sodom gets the fair treatment!
Icons7619 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
"The Brides of Sodom" is ironically very timely, controversial enough to enrage a few prude's, yet clever by not taking itself too seriously, despite what you will see! The story gets moved into a gritty future where Vamps(read"greedy, narcissistic society",glamorous creatures of the night common in Hollywood!)have taken over, starting to enforce pleasure, degeneration, encouraging consumerism, but, allowing none true freedom to those trying to live their lives far from the hypocrisy of a very corrupted system of superstition, unspoken hate, tragic secrets, alike fascist terror, dictatorships taking over financially shaky, uneducated Countries, whose power's been obtained with innocents' blood & fear perpetrating some of the worst crimes, such as, outrageous abuse of all laws & constitution: clear oppression's the ultimate scope. Now, this is certainly not a political film, but,it's a pity the creators hadn't followed more the original subtext, its moral, existential's key, just opting for a more commercial, less dangerously intellectual direction to please the fans of the Cult! Sensitive human,Samuel, who's made prisoner by handsome hunter, Eros, then, a sexual slave, by the lecherous Emperor of this tyrannical legacy, becomes clearly the main character, maybe a pretext to immediately show how lack of freedom is key to existences ruled by tyrants, even in a place where all customs seem to be "accepted" yet never fully granted, by the power,by its selfish, amoral code.Populated seemingly just by orgiastic courtesans, hot warriors&their tirelessly sexual obsessions, and the 2 handsome leads, ex model, executive producer,Domiziano Arcangeli, and,ex porn superstar,David Taylor(here, at his first mainstream acting role)seem wanting to"express"more with their glances, than with the words available by a strictly "Genre" script, however, one must say they certainly do make for one of the sexiest vampire's couples ever seen,at least in Gay/Bisexual's films, and, their smart director, exploitation Guru's, Creep Creepersin, who also wrote the script, does indeed not miss a beat to get the hunky Taylor attacking Arcangeli, then getting the 2 actors, pressured by very "human"needs, furiously getting a rid of their clothing, and, showing with fierce exuberance, all the skin they could possibly bare in one single frame, before erupting in effusions, so heavily erotic, they get to the limit of hardcore, in fact, i thought we were indeed getting close, but, at the end, they did always manage to end up carrying&holding themselves up, along the standard's of decency (at least for a NC-17rating of course),conveying within them an almost very true, dense sensuality, without ever, really trespassing that fine line, laying between legit acting, and,"the real thing" (like in the awfully sensationalistic "L.A. Vampires",a disappointment, from Bruce LaBruce).Very good, but, unfortunately the very contrived plot, never reaches for the deeper nature of its premise, that honestly feels almost forgotten,or simply not explored sufficiently, potentially having elevated this to a real experience, more profound, and, less exploitative! But, here it is exactly where the movie gets on fire:it has indeed plenty of beautiful moments, rich of1970's European Genre's suggestions to make for an entertaining, shockingly thrilling ride, especially for those who don't know how to appreciate Horror flick's, made with a provocative style! If,"The Brides of Sodom" is unashamedly filled with an extravagant mix of gore galore, an ensemble of Goth,S/M,and,its depiction of lurid events, typical of pulp narrative, but, of some of Anne Rice's novels, too, this movie becomes definitely most notable for its atmospheres, impeccably re-created,respecting quite the original's! And, thanks to a moody, dark, fine cinematography, its extremely "Caligula" alike scenes, offering even a sub plot set in post apocalyptic, nocturnal exteriors, where a stalking moon lights up bloody landscapes with sinister creatures, where our 2 main lovers are trying to celebrate some sort of "feral honeymoon", escaping from Eros's incestuous sister, a semi lesbian, quirky Princess, who's foolishly in love with her brother! Eventually, she would even take to bed mystic Samuel (he's half a Saint, half a whore, like in a John Ford's tragedy!),with the hope to save the Empire from the unforgiving cruelty of Dionysus(Dylan Vox), who's also extremely embittered by loosing Eros, to ex human Samuel! Eros made him into a vampire, to save his life, however, it's not all glowing at the Horizon, at the contrary, after the 2 hunks get an array of hot love making, impeccably delivered, we hit a very hard, unexpected twist, shifting the story, toward a whole new direction! Samuel now changes face, he's committed to find out about some deadly mystery linking the Empire to a frightening danger! And, so he becomes a dilemma of ambiguity, he will get himself in the graces of Dionysus, too, but to further in a plan, that may compromise everyone's future, if not executed. The Princess, searching for happiness, spends her nights, making love to gorgeous ingénues, lovely naked girls, brought to her, by the soldiers Satroi (performed by an ensemble of porn stars, and, some of the hottest underwear's models ever seen all together in the same movie!) in extremely gory, lesbian,or orgiastic greed, provoking her to slash the poor girls, with the fury of her insatiable fangs, and, that of her solitude! The movie(as you may understand)was for me, like more of a lavish,"tripper"odyssey, into the realm of Erotica, with unforgettable male sex scenes, and,a fine celebration of Euro's Horror's from the 1970's.So, if you are into a fun roller coaster's ride, that's happened to be cast with savvy intuition, featuring gorgeous hipsters, sexy witches, or violence's driven, filth obsessed courtesans(there's even Beverly Lynne,Skinemax's Queen performing a Nazi warden to an S/M's dungeon!),by handsome, muscular boys, with the help of their bosom's hot ingénues, in the semi nude, this makes for some show, displaying with a little malice, indeed (but who cares?) the decadence of an Empire, and its Fall (it seems,it's all fault, at the end,of Peter Stickles, from "Short Bus", who plays mute, but, extremely seductive "Book Keeper"), "Brides"will definitely give you more than an opportunity to spend one heated evening, without any of the usual clichés(must tell you, personally have enjoyed a lot more this one than those teased up,disappointingly flatter episodes, of something like"True Blood"),for sure a far more liberated"guilty pleasure",where either dreaming, or getting aroused by a clever combination of classic myths, Euro's exploitation at its most prominent, and, lush beauties, may have indeed its pay off!
