The pentagram Bones is making on the x-ray, changes between shots. It is easy to see the difference. At 36:21 the top right point is off the dot, and at 37:11 it is spot on.
The black carrion birds which resemble and are called crows in this episode are actually ravens, a much larger black bird of the same family as crows that are commonly seen eating dead and decomposing animals. As an anthropologist Bones should know this distinction.
Angela is reluctant to say her name during her wedding to Hodgins, but in season 2, a private investigator discovered that she legally changed her name. If it was a legal name change, her current name is the one she would state while getting married, not her birth name.
During the open of the episode, at 00:17, the skeleton of the "witch" is revealed, and seems to eerily blow out of its own accord. However, from 00:23-00:25, the fans creating this effect are clearly visible behind the skeleton.
When Angela and Hodgsons are stopped by the sheriff, they say that they are driving north from the crime scene to deliver evidence to the lab. The crime scene is in Carroll County, which is north of D.C. They should be driving south.
