Harry

The concept of Suspect has got old and repetitive very quickly.

Danny Frater gets a new name or a new lead and goes to see them.

Another round of passive aggressiveness that just ends up Danny being angry and aggressive. Especially when it is indicated that he was a bad father.

So it is rinse and repeat when Danny goes to see venture capitalist Harry Carr (Richard E Grant.) He is an investor in strip clubs and pharmaceutical companies.

Harry also claims to be a surrogate father to Christina. Well it is horses for courses.

I was struck how the script was lifted when the calibre of actor improves. Grant is riding high since his Oscar nomination in 2019.

James Nesbitt raises his game and a so so script is a lot better on the screen.

The repetition is wearing a little thin.

Wealthy businessman Harry Carr is the latest to come under Danny's scrutiny.

The last few episodes have all pretty much had the same plot, just a different actor on the other side.

I would say this is marginally better than the previous episode, and that's largely down to the acting skills of Richard E. Grant, but once again, this really was hard work.

The direction isn't good, it has some nice touches, but it just feels a little lifeless at times. The main issue though, is the repetition, I wish they could have just made one episode a little different.

Is there anyone else left to accuse, 5/10.
