It seems like so long ago now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were working royals and attended events smiling alongside Prince William and the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton). The group, once known as the “Fab Four,” even attended a royal engagement to promote a foundation everyone thought they were going to be working on together for years to come.
Some fans look back on that day as the first time anyone noticed that things seemed a little off and maybe weren’t so great behind the scenes. The whole dynamic between the couples was odd, and at one point, Harry read his brother’s expression while Meghan was speaking and interrupted her.
Most people don’t like being interrupted when they’re speaking and Meghan really doesn’t like it. Here’s what happened next.

HBO had the Lakers, now FX has the Clippers. Will the series’ fates differ (as the real-life teams’ have), or will “Clipped” face the same quick, quiet end as “Winning Time”? We’ll find out this June, when FX’s latest ripped-from-the-headlines adaptation premieres exclusively on Hulu. The trailer was released Thursday, April 25 — just under six weeks prior to the premiere — and now you can watch the first footage below.
Set in 2013, the six-episode limited series stars Ed O’Neill as L.A. Clippers’ owner Donald Sterling and Laurence Fishburne as the team’s head coach, Doc Rivers. Formerly with the Boston Celtics (who won an NBA title in 2008), Rivers had just joined the Clippers when the owner’s racist comments went public, sending the organization into a tailspin and Sterling into a power struggle with Rivers, players, and the NBA at large. NBC’s loss is Peacock’s gain — again.
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Peacock is putting the finishing touches on a deal that would see Law & Order: Organized Crime move from NBC to the streamer for a fifth season consisting of 10 episodes.
Reps for Peacock, NBC, producers Universal Television and executive producer Dick Wolf declined to comment, as a deal has yet to officially close.
Marking a return to the L&o world for franchise favorite Chris Meloni, Organized Crime has overperformed on Peacock with the streamer serving as the streaming home for all things Dick Wolf. Once the deal is formalized, Peacock will now have a Wolf original series to go with next-day episodes of NBC’s already renewed L&o flagship as well as Svu. NBC renewed five of its six Wolf-produced procedurals in March, leaving Organized Crime on the bubble and prompting fan campaigns to save the show.

The raging inferno that is a passionate and devoted fanbase with a mission can never be put out.
Not even the firefighters of Station 19 can douse the flames of the passionate fans' relentless pursuit of rescuing this series they love.
It's been an organized reckoning with fans making their voices heard since the second the Station 19 cancelation was announced.
Part of that fight includes passionate pleas for someone to pick up the series, and Netflix would be just the streamer to do it.

Since stepping down from her role as a working royal along with Prince Harry in 2020, Meghan Markle has been trying to carve out her new career path.
She became a podcast host, but Spotify canceled Archetypes after one season and pulled its multi-million deal with the Sussexes. A company executive then publicly called her and Harry “F****** grifters.” Then, when reports circulated that Meghan could strike a deal with Dior to model for the luxury brand, a rep for the fashion house quickly debunked those rumors. There was also talk that she may have some involvement in the new Suits reboot but that isn’t the case. And after rounding out 2023 in The Hollywood Reporter’s Biggest Losers List, the Duchess of Sussex has rebranded herself.

A sequel to the cult classic, The Adventures Of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert is in the works. Thirty years after the original film’s release, it’s also been announced that its cast and writer-director Stephan Elliot are all returning.
Speaking to Deadline, Elliot revealed that a sequel is in the works, saying “I’m not repeating myself, we’ll start the new film in Australia, but by God, we’re going on one helluva journey. The original cast is on board, I’ve got a script that everybody likes, we’re still working out deals. … It’s happening”.
Although nothing is official, Elliot’s statement seems pretty definitive, and confirms that Stamp, Weaving and Pearce are all on board.

Last year, an unexpected series rose to popularity – Suits. The USA Network original made its debut on June 23, 2011, and ran for a total of nine seasons. The series was a success for the network that also spawned a one-season spin-off featuring Gina Torres’ Jessica Pearson. However, Suits became an overnight sensation once it dropped on Netflix in late 2023. The series dominated in the ratings during the Summer and Fall seasons and became the most streamed show in over a year. Naturally, the success of this once-dead brand has been revived and it’s been confirmed that a

Meghan Markle has rolled out some products from her new business American Riviera Orchard. The duchess has been teasing the launch of her lifestyle brand since March. Several home decor and kitchen products will reportedly be available for purchase including decanters, napkin rings, cutlery, table linens, placemats, and napkins.
And edibles that will be sold include: “jellies, jams, marmalades, fruit preserves, edible oils and fats, and preserves, vegetable-based spreads, legume-based spreads, nut-based spreads, garlic-based spreads, sesame-based spreads, dairy-based spreads, nut butters, and fruit butters.”
A few of Meghan’s friends have already shown their support by helping her advertise, taking to social media to thank her for the strawberry jam she sent. But some outside Prince Harry’s wife‘s circle, aren’t impressed. Here’s more on that and what a couple of branding experts think of the “weird” launch.

While the dual union strikes of the writers and the actors postponed some projects, once the studios and unions reached an agreement, there was a lot of catch-up to play. The postponed schedules meant that this year is seeing a delay in several releases. It also looks as if some studios are going to see some releases grouped together. According to The Hollywood Reporter, popular Netflix shows that would have seen a more dispersed schedule are now bunched for later 2024.

The rising star on transitioning from man to beast for Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes.
When Owen Teague was four years old, he saw Disney’s Beauty And The Beast and wanted to be in it. Not do a voice in it — actually be in it. “My mum was like, ‘Um, okay, sure, but that’s an animation. There are community theatres you can audition for?’” So he started doing community theatre, mostly musicals. Then, in 2005, Peter Jackson’s King Kong arrived. Seven-year-old Owen was bewitched. When his mum explained that King Kong was played by an actual guy in a performance- capture suit, Teague saw his future.

Prince Harry’s taking a backseat as Meghan Markle gets American Riviera Orchard off the ground. According to a royal author, the Duke of Sussex will likely be in the spotlight less as his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, launches her new lifestyle brand. The reason, they claim, is because Harry’s a “reminder” that “all is not well” in their relationship with King Charles III and Kate Middleton as the two undergo cancer treatment. Ahead, what the author had to say and more about Meghan’s new business venture.
Author expects to ‘see less of Harry’ as Meghan launches American Riviera Orchard
More of American Riviera Orchard, or Aro as it’s being referred to by fans, and less of Harry. That’s basically how royal author Tom Quinn expects things to go as Meghan introduces American Riviera Orchard to the world.

When Blue Lights debuted on BBC One last year, it was favourably compared with Line of Duty. The comparison made sense. Both dramas deal with drug-dealing organised crime gangs, and touch on the under-funded reality of PR and stats-led UK policing. Both love an armed response unit and a cliffhanger. They’re both filmed in Belfast (though only Blue Lights is set there) and take place in fictional police sections where the dialogue gets a bit ‘sit rep on the double o-b’ spilled-Scrabble-tiles at times.
There is though, a major difference between the two – and it’s not just Blue Lights being about frontline response policing (uniforms in patrol cars) and Line of Duty being about anti-corruption detectives (suits in undercover vehicles). It’s to do with warmth.
To listen to commissioners, warmth is what audiences are currently craving. It’s what put Richard Osman on the bestseller lists for his Thursday Murder Club books,...

Following their decision to step down from royal duties and move to America in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a lucrative deal with streaming giant Netflix for upwards of $100 million. In late 2022, their six-part docuseries Harry & Meghan was released and became one of the most-watched documentaries on the platform.
However, the Sussexes’ next project Live to Lead, featuring interviews with Greta Thunberg and Jacinda Ardern, did not find popularity with audiences. Nor did another documentary showcasing Prince Harry’s Invictus Games titled Heart of Invictus, which was also labeled a flop after failing to crack Netflix’s Top 10.
But the prince and the former Suits star are now trying again to capture the magic they once had with some brand new content including a cooking show as well as a documentary about Harry’s favorite sport. And while filming the latter, Meghan had an awkward exchange that was captured by cameras.

Suits, a long-running mainstay on cable’s USA Network that became a streaming phenomenon last year, will make its broadcast debut this fall on MyNetwork TV.
The show’s slot in Fox’s Monday-through-Friday syndicated programming block, which reaches 97% of U.S. TV homes, will mark the first time it will be available on free television. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
The legal drama, which premiered on USA Network in 2011, became a streaming phenomenon when it landed on Netflix and NBCUniversal’s Peacock in 2023. Even though the Netflix run was non-exclusive (the show’s full nine seasons can only be streamed on Peacock), it racked up viewing minutes in the tens of billions and broke a number of Nielsen records. The surge of interest led to NBCU and creator Aaron Korsh to plot out an entire Suits universe, with new iteration Suits: L.A. landing a pilot order last February.

Suits enjoyed a massive popularity surge several times over the years, and we have good news for those who want to continue to watch the series without a Netflix or Peacock subscription.

After setting streaming records for months on end last year, Suits is heading to a new — or rather, old — frontier: broadcast syndication.
The former USA Network series will make its over-the-air debut in the fall on the Fox-owned MyNetwork TV programming service. All nine seasons (134 episodes in total) will be available via the service, which covers about 97 percent of TV homes in the United States.
“It’s become increasingly more difficult, if not impossible, to launch obscure product on broadcast TV,” said Frank Cicha, executive vp programming for Fox Televsion Stations. “Suits is arguably the most buzzworthy scripted series of the last half decade, and MyNet looks forward to amplifying its success by introducing it to the broadcast television audience. We’re discussing some fun ways to do just that.”

As “Suits” continues to overperform as a streaming acquisition on Netflix, the hit legal drama is finally coming to broadcast TV. Primetime programming service MyNetwork TV has picked up an off-network run of “Suits” for this fall, making its broadcast TV debut.

Meghan Markle sees no way “back” for her and Kate Middleton. A royal author says the Duchess of Sussex has no feelings of guilt about how things happened with the Prince of Wales. The reason, they claim, is because Meghan still feels Kate, as a fellow royal “outsider,” should’ve “had her back.”
Meghan doesn’t get why Kate didn’t support her as a royal family ‘outsider’
According to Tom Quinn, a royal author and commentator, Meghan has no feelings of guilt at how things played out between her and Kate. The reason, he told The Mirror, is that the former Suits star feels Kate should’ve had her back. Especially seeing as the two married into the royal family.
“Meghan doesn’t feel guilty about Kate,” Quinn said. “Because she feels that Kate should’ve been the one person in the royal family to back her against every difficulty.

The creator of Bluey has revealed he was inspired by a handful of other shows when drawing up plans for his TV canine phenomenon.
Joe Brumm recently spoke to Deadline about the future of the show, which was Disney+’s most-streamed title of 2023 with almost 44 billion minutes of the 145 available eps watched, according to Nielsen data, and was the U.S.’s second-most streamed title overall, behind only Suits. Last year, Bluey mania reached a new height in the U.S. when a giant inflatable Bluey led the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
This weekend, Brumm told The Guardian newspaper he was influenced by UK sitcom Gavin and Stacey, penned by James Corden and Ruth Jones.
Brum said: “Gavin and Stacey was influential in a big way. I loved how it genuinely crossed generations, like The Simpsons back in the day. I thought: ‘Why shouldn’t a kids’ show make parents laugh too?...

Prince Harry is set to return to London in May for a service at St. Paul’s Cathedral to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. But a big question remains whether this will be a solo trip for the duke or if he will be accompanied by his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Duchess of Sussex has not set foot on U.K. soil since 2022 when Queen Elizabeth II’s died. A royal expert believes the former Suits star isn’t keen on going back and will use the “perfect excuse” to avoid it.
Expert suggest that Meghan will use this excuse not to join Prince Harry
In response to all the speculation about whether Meghan will or won’t join her husband, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams opined that the duchess actually has a pretty convenient excuse she can use at the moment.

Netflix is remaining in the Duchess of Sussex business!
And business is -- well, booming might be a strong word, but clearly, both sides believe they've got a good thing going.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first signed a deal with Netflix back in 2020, but since then, the couple's media market value has declined a bit.
Their first two projects with the streaming giant met with mixed results, but according to a new announcement, two more series from the couple's Archewell production studio are currently in development.
News of the new shows was first reported by Deadline.
One of the projects is a food-focused lifestyle series that will "celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship."
The show will be directed by Michael Steed, who's best known for his work on Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.

Taylor Swift made her chart debut in Nielsen’s streaming rankings, as her concert movie The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) had a strong showing over its first four days of release on Disney+.

After stepping down from royal duties a few years back and moving to America, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had quite a few moments they’d like to forget. The duke and duchess were mocked by late-night comedians and on TV shows like South Park and The Family Guy. The couple also gained a reputation for not putting in work and were dropped by Spotify before one of the company’s executives called them “f******* grifters.” The Sussexes then rounded out 2023 by landing on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Biggest Losers” list.
The prince and former Suits star vowed that 2024 would be their “redemption year.” They’ve since ramped up speaking engagements and appearances to discuss important causes and Meghan is launching her very own lifestyle brand. And that, according to an expert, is a clear sign that she feels ready to split from Prince Harry.

Exclusive: Keep your eyes peeled for how Sunday’s extended episode of Bluey performs — its success just might decide whether TV’s most famous heeler dog family step foot in the feature film world.
In an exclusive interview with Deadline, Bluey creator Joe Brumm addressed the future of the Australia kids TV juggernaut, and it sounds like 30-minute special ‘The Sign’ — four times the length of regular episodes — will play a key role in what shape the story of anthropomorphic Australian sisters Bluey and Bingo takes next.
To date, the three seasons have all run seven-minute episodes. “I’m loving going longer on ‘The Sign’, and I’d love to try to go longer — I definitely would not rule that out,” he said. “That’s why I’m very interested to see how The Sign goes down with the audience. Obviously it’s four times as long as a normal episode.

Heels has nailed its landing after Starz canceled the series in 2023. Netflix and Lionsgate Worldwide Television Distribution Group have agreed to a licensing agreement for the two seasons of critically-acclaimed drama from Mike O’Malley.
Deadline has learned there is an option for a third season, but that all depends on the availability of stars Stephen Amell, who booked the lead role in the Suits spinoff, and Alexander Ludwig, who’s toplining Earth Abides for MGM+. A spokesman for Lionsgate declined to comment.

Set in a close-knit Georgia community, it follows a family-owned wrestling promotion as two brothers and rivals (Amell and Ludwig) war over their late father’s legacy. Heels might be headed back to the ring.
The drama, which was unceremoniously canceled along with a couple more series as Starz cleaned house in September, has been licensed to Netflix by Lionsgate Worldwide Television Distribution. With the acquisition, Netflix will have non-exclusive rights to the two-season, 16-episode library of the wrestling drama starring Stephen Amell (Arrow) and Alexander Ludwig (Vikings).
Sources also note that while Netflix has not renewed the series, the streamer could wind up doing so should Heels perform well on the platform. Those same sources also caution that a third season, even in success, could still be a logistical challenge. Amell — a die-hard wrestling fan who often would perform his own stunts on Heels — signed on in February as the lead in NBC’s highly anticipated spinoff of Suits. The offshoot of the former USA Network original is one of but five pilots in the works at NBC.
