-In Quebec, French as a mother tongue has declined by 1% since 2011. An insignificant figure for some, but alarming for others, who fear that it will continue to grow. Globalization, inadequate education and bilingualism are among what they see as threats to the survival of French in Quebec. Such is the case with the controversial "Bonjour-Hi", whose use has doubled in Montreal businesses since 2010. In 2019, is French in peril in Quebec?

-Quebec parents are adept at "sharenting", i.e. sharing photos of their children on social networks. As they get older, it's their children who are drawn to digital platforms. Some parents fear the risks associated with this virtual presence. Others believe that social networks shouldn't be demonized, because in 2020, they're a fact of life.
