Libby manages to be even scarier than she was in the previous episode, obsessing about Steph's pregnancy as if it's a substitute for the baby she didn't have. There's a weird moment between Toadie and Steph where they act like a couple even when there's no-one around to see.The pairing of Libby and Doug is a bit contrived and seems to be there mainly to propel Libby closer to the truth.
There's a mildly amusing subplot about Declan and Kate struggling to find time alone together. It's nice to see them allowed to just relax and be a couple after all the angst but the plot line doesn't really go anywhere. The Donna/Nick confusion gets played out exactly the way everyone expected it to yet it still doesn't give Donna the impetus to finally tell the truth.
