A perfect musical match

A magical moment in musical history "I Hear You Know" is one of those mystifying and mysterious things that captures your heart and soul with its melodic and beautiful harmonies and sounds, and the most incredible lyricism of all time. It's beyond simple and safe, beyond anything you've seen or heard, it's true magic in front of you with the solid partnership between the great composer of "Chariots of Fire" and "Blade Runner" Vangelis and one of the most incredible vocalists of all time, Yes frontman Jon Anderson. They can't do wrong and they don't.

Like anything from Vangelis, this music (and video) is something out of this world. His sound is beyond limits, never dated and always timeless - I dare you to hear all of his tracks ranging from the 1970's to the 2020's and try to figure out exactly in what year they were released. And the fantasy created here revolves around Anderson admiring a mytical female creatue who moves gently through the space and other scenarios, and he sings we deduce he's the poet who admires his object of desire and affection, completely in love. And then there's bits of performances by the duo.

It's quite hard to categorize this song, I mean there's appeal for rock fans (thanks to Yes vocal presence) but it's not rock; there's appeal for fans of instrumental and heavy use of synthesizers just in the way Vangelis loves them but it's not completely instrumental; and plenty of room for fans of romantic and poetic songs. So, everybody wins! And for those who love fantasy themed videos, this is a must-see even though a storyline about thsoe characters (Jon and the girl) would fit so much better than amazing song. 8/10 RIP Vangelis.
