- Savoie, from village to village: Sophie begins her journey through Savoie in Chanaz, on the Savières Canal, a small watercourse that flows into the Le Bourget Lake. - Beginning of the journey on the canal de Savières: Sophie is on the electric boat managed by Juan Moreno and arrives at Chanaz, a nice village with flower decked houses where she meets Mathilde Gallaire, owner of restaurant (a water mill) and they taste a "nougat de chèvres" (cheese wit dried apricots, almonds and wild garlic).Later Sophie is in Arêches-Beaufort, she buys a "pain des Croës" in the bakery and then looks for Marie Bochet, an Olympic Paralympic athlete who is at the lake of Roselend (transhumance of the cattle): they walk to the mountain cabin of Plan Mya, managed by Françoise Bochet (Marie's mother).They eat the "pain des Croës" and ham and later walked to a mall peak where there is a nice panorama over the lake of Roselend.After that they go down to the "Coopérative laitière du Beaufortais" where Yvon Bochet (Marie's father) shows them the cellar of the cheese factory.After that Sophie travels to La Compôte en Bauges, where she meets Séverine Chatelain who shows her the village and prepares for Sophie and her family "rissoles" , a typical pastry of Savoy.Later Sophie is in Valloire where she meets Laurent Guillaume, a television presenter: they taste cheese in the market ad they have a walk in the mountain and reach the "Ferme des Etroits": Christophe Travignet shows them the goats in the meadow: they go to the stable and Sophie helps to milk the goats: Christophe and his companion give Sophie a goat cheese.After that Sophie is in Aussois with Patrick Col, they climb a mountain and reach the "Fort Victor-Emmanuel", a system of 5 fortresses: there Rémi Trouillon and another artist are telling the story of the fortress in rap style.Finally Patrick and Sophie take a zip-line to cross a valley and go back to Aussois. Finally Sophie meets the alpine skier Thibault Anselmet and they visit a hamlet near Bonneval sur Arc where Robert and Julien are laying flagstone over the roof of a chalet. Besides we see zooms about Bourg Saint Maurice (the television presenters, the flagstones, the folk music), about the transhumance (the hamlet of Monal), about the blue cheese of Termignon, about the baroque chapels, about the National Park of the Vanoise (the alpine ibex) and about the company of the "Chasseurs alpins".—zutterjp48
