- Title card/crawl: In the aftermath of World War II the extent of the Nazi eugenics program was revealed to the Allies. Film canisters found at euthanasia facilities exposed their genetic research and proof that human biology had been successfully advanced. The subject patients in the films were endowed with special gifts. They performed telekinesis, they conjured the elements, they posessed superhuman strength, and they could channel energy sources beyond measure or discernible origin. They were stronger, faster, and more intelligent. They were designated - The Meta Humans. All trace of the subject patients had vanished. Their location remains a mystery.

- News Reporter: Casualties of the global flu epidemic that has baffled the scientific community have grown in March. The total number of deaths in the United States alone has risen to well over 20,000. Authorities are struggling to cope with the strain on health care facilities. It's very clear that the president's nationwide allocation of emergency funds and resources is insufficient.

- News Reporter: And, believe it or not folks, the Silhouette is back. Vigilante violence on the streets of downtown Los Angeles continues as another report emerged today of a violent attack on gang members. Two kilos of heroin were confiscated by police as they arrived at the crime scene today. The vigilante has been labeled "The Silhouette" by local tabloids. The Silhouette is described as a female, dressed in black, and on her own. All of this sounds a little hard to believe, doesn't it folks.
- Kristina: We came. We saw. We kicked some fuckin' ass.
