I just saw this short film on the Doorpost Film Project web site--and I nearly gave it a 9--I liked it that much. "I Love You, Will Smith" is a wonderful little comedy about some people who allow their feelings for Will Smith to go a bit to far...
The film begins with two people at work discussing the latest Will Smith movie and they agree that EVERYONE loves this actor. A third co-worker tells them that he does NOT love Smith at all. So, the man who loves Will spends the rest of the film badgering the other guy until he admits that he, too, loves Will Smith...or else! There's much more to it than this, but I don't want to discuss any more details--I want it all to be fresh when you see it--and you MUST.
A great script, acting and direction--I was really, really impressed by this one.
