The whodunnit plot line kicks into high gear for the first time in a while and it's probably no coincidence that it's the first episode in a while to not have Andrew, Summer and Natasha get in the way of the drama. From Rebecca refusing to leave Paul's side to Declan trying to cope on his own to Susan's quiet investigation, there's a lot of good stuff here.Toadie thumbs his nose at Diana even though he appears to be working for everyone else in Ramsay Street but her plight and Susan's involvement in it opens a lot of doors for future plot lines.
Meanwhile, Kate and Sophie are left choosing a new housemate and Kate and Declan have sex, which as a result of the devolution Neighbours has undergone in recent years is signified by him having his shirt off and her having a few creases in her jumper.Although Kate is quick to put the brakes on, perhaps rightly so, it's another suggestion of what might be coming up in the future.
