Unsure if they could remove the camera's original audio, the cast silently mouthed all of their lines so they could add in improperly synced dialogue later. The only exceptions were during the puking sequence, and the following line where tall Johnny says "Much better" with such a slur that it sounds like "Mush better," after tall Johnny makes a shot and for some reason jumps around making monster noises, and when the two Johnnys fight up behind the backboard, where the two were inexplicably making their own sound effects.
The quality is poor because it was originally recorded and edited with a VHS camera and VCR in 1993. Years later, Bilson tried to clean it up a bit, but the tape was just too far gone. Anyway, they believe the terrible quality adds to the comedy.
When the short Johnny first squares off against the clerk, after the double kick sends the clerk to the ground, there was supposed to be a cut. As they circle around each other, you see Chuck shake his head and turn to the camera. Thinking it'd be funny to use this take and have Chuck run away from the fight, they added the shot where he does and runs into the apparently teleported short Johnny.
After the fight with the clerk, the camera moves in on the short Johnny saying something. While they were dubbing the dialogue, Johnny couldn't control himself and laughed maniacally. Originally, he was simply supposed to say "I'm bad," referencing the old video game 'Bad Dudes,' but everyone thought the laugh was funnier, so they left it in.
When the short Johnny asks "Wanna play basketball," the camera shakes a bit as the basketball flies into his hand because the only other crew member they had at this point to throw the ball to him was Chuck, who was also holding the camera.
