Embarrassingly poor direction

I've watched many of Alektra Blue's Wicked videos, and this lousy one made by Barrett Blade certainly did the star a disservice. It's inept in every way.

Commercial title of course suggests Tina Fey, who has a Broadway musical adding to the reputation of her hit movie by that name. Blade and supremely untalented scripter "Scott Fayner" present a story of two teams of 3 gals each, competing at Rayveness's fashion house in tough times in a design contest with the winners to keep their jobs. Even IMDb's meager synopsis doesn't get this lame plot line right.

The acting is consistently poor, for which I blame Blade because several of the performers have done fine jobs for other directors. The tone of the movie is all wrong, as Blade & Fayner inject murder but fail to establish either a light-hearted mood or a dark one, just interested in seguing from one sex scene to the next. For example, a murder by running someone over with a car late in the show is below the level of an amateur backyard movie and thus has zero impact.

With a red wig, fellow Wicked contract star Kristen Price overacts as the villain, while her team of "mean girls" barely acts at all, a crummy NonSex performance by usually (and still) desirable Wendy/Maya Divine and a poor representation of ditzy by Bailey Brooks. Cop on the case TJ Cummings gives one of his worst performances and even Alektra is uninteresting.

The sex scenes are routine and Blade doesn't even attempt to keep them within story context, notably when Dale DaBone suddenly shows up as a maintenance man, the cast mumbles some irrelevant dialog, and it's time for XXX action arbitrarily. Top it all off with a needlessly cryptic ending and you have a disaster.

Note however, Blade remains in demand as a director, cranking out web content for producer Bree Mills, mainly in the Oiler genre, as fast as he can. It's inspiration for budding hacks everywhere.
