Thai director Wisit Sasanatieng’s (“Tears of the Black Tiger”) new superhero film, “Red Eagle”, a remake/homage to a 1960s action series, holds to this bleak vision. When the world is going to hell, and in desperate need of a savior, up steps Red Eagle. As a movie, “Red Eagle” is about thirty minutes too long, and while the story is standard superhero fare and feels very comic booky—in both a positive and negative light—it makes up for its shortcomings in the best possible way, by delivering absurd amounts of ridiculous,...

With the overwhelming success of the Phobia movies the anthology project has become rather the flavor of the day in Thailand. There have been more horror oriented compilations, of course, but also romances and others.
And next to adopt the format is หลุด 4 หลุด. If there's an English title for this one I haven't been able to find it but it's a four part project that looks to focus on horror with some action and comedy thrown in. Sahamongkol Film and Prachya Pinkaew's Baa Ram Ewe are the backers and, yep, that's Ananda Everingham (Shutter, The Red Eagle) starring in the more action oriented segment.
Though details are scarce for the time being the trailer is looking good and you can take a look below.
