Poetic or pretentious?

"So wie wir hier zusammen sind" is a German short film from 5 years ago and runs for 8 minutes and the title already tells you that this tries to be a very artistic film in terms of human relationships, especially love. I got curious about this as I saw Karoline Herfurth in there and she is one of the biggest stars in Germany now, also acts in international productions, for example in a Brian De Palma film recently. And Nadja Bobyleva's career seems on the rise as well as she is in Spielberg's new film "Bridge of Spies" soon. On lead actor Daniel Hoevels, however, I cannot find any very recent information. This short film was written and directed by Sophie Kluge and as I see famous German filmmaker Alexander Kluge as co-writer here, my guess is she is his daughter. Anyway, this film is about one-sided declarations of love and about jumping into the freezing water to save your girlfriend. To answer the question in the title: Pretentious. I was slightly disappointed, even if it's certainly not a failure. Still, all in all, I would not recommend the watch.
