Silhouettes in Shadow and Light played in a double feature with the restorated version of the 1965 arthouse film shot by Vilmos Zsigmond SUMMER CHILDREN Kansas City International Film Festival 2013.
The footage was shot during the restoration process of SUMMER CHILDREN by Zoltan Honti Directed by Edie Robinette-Petrachi.
Jack Robinette and Vilmos Zsigmond provided so much vibrant material about working together in 1965, Edie turned had the engineers turn off the film and keep recording for an additional hour. Then, a second recording session occurred at Wildwood studios in Cahuenga and Edie recorded a more cinematography oriented script, then edited the two together for the commentary track of SUMMER CHILDREN. The additional audio is used in SILHOUETTES IN SHADOW AND LIGHT. Both productions are fine examples of mentoring from the great master and his collaborator and friend.
Edie Robinette-Petrachi and Jack Robinette traveled to Wright's Beach North Carolina to record a commentary track with Vilmos Zsigmond at North Star Audio Post while working on Bolden (2019)
