- A teen boy asks his father if another man was his "real father" and the man disregards the question telling the boy that he is the boy's father.

- We see a large explosion as a man's ship floats toward an underwater mine and a teen girl's voiceover explains that her father had died in the Korean War.

- The aforementioned school hall scene might be intense, but conveys no sense of genuine danger or threat.
- While cleaning the boarding house the actions taken by some students are somewhat dangerous, but no harm occurs.
- Some of the scenes that reveal the background of the characters might be intense for some, since they deal with losing relatives and family.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- It is implied at a point that the couple who have fallen in love during the film might be brother and sister, which might add an unpleasant undertone to the film. By the end of the film, however, this is revealed to be not true.
