A couple of months ago, the first trailer for the upcoming game, Jurassic World: Evolution was announced. A lot of players, including myself, were excited with the news especially since it has been 15 years since Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis was released.
Now, a new video was released at the Frontier Expo 2017, which showed the first in-game footage of the upcoming park building sim. Jurassic World: Evolution is developed by Frontier, the studio behind famous titles such as Planet Coaster and Elite Dangerous, and will let players take the helm in managing their very own Jurassic World theme park. Players can expect to bioengineer new dinosaur breeds, build attractions, and entertain the tourists that will visit their park.
The developers of the game also released a content reveal video posted below, where they discuss the future of the games they’re working on, the gameplay in Jurassic World Evolution,...

A salute to the unexplained story elements in Doctor Who, that leave us wondering who makes all the equipment for the Daleks?
Doctor Who raises many questions. What is the Doctor’s real name? What would he have said to Rose on that beach? And most important of all, who is it that designs hats for the Daleks?
Throughout the show’s history, right back to 1964’s The Dalek Invasion Of Earth, the Doctor’s greatest foe have demonstrated precisely cack-all aptitude for millinery. The Robomen in that story were humans converted into slaves and fitted with large helmet/neck-brace combos for mind-control purposes. By 1988’s Remembrance Of The Daleks they’d realised that putting a small chip behind Michael Sheard’s ear was much less conspicuous, but then in 2007’s Daleks In Manhattan/Evolution Of The Daleks they’ve decided hats aren’t enough and turn people into pig hybrids.

Spoilers! Here are our ultra-nerdy viewing notes and geeky spots from Doctor Who series 9's The Witch's Familiar...
The Witch’s Familiar may have been less frantic than The Magician’s Apprentice, but it contained just as many back-references and kisses to the past - in addition to the ones documented in last week’s article. So here are all the geeky things we were able to notice in this week’s episode…
As ever, let us know in the comments if we missed any. The article starts once you scroll past Daphne The Spoiler Squirrel...
Callbacks of the Daleks
This isn’t the first time the Doctor has wielded a Dalek gunstick. Having narrated every Dalek story to date for Davros in 1975’s Genesis Of The Daleks, the fourth Doctor then destroys the recording using a Dalek gun. Dalek gunsticks were also wielded by the Dalek-humans in David Tennant Story Evolution Of The Daleks.

Spoilers: here are our viewing notes for Doctor Who series 9 episode 1, The Magician's Apprentice. There's a lot to spot...
When a show has over 50 years of history, it can sometimes be hard to keep up with all the continuity, callbacks and generally geeky references. Which is why, for series 9 (or series 35), we're trying this extra weekly feature of, effectively, viewing notes.
Which is fortunate because, as you might expect, The Magician’s Apprentice contained more than its fair share of these. Here are the ones we found; if you noticed something we haven’t, feel free to add it in the comments!
This is a very spoiler-heavy article. Thus, we've deployed our spoiler squirrel - Daphne - to stop your eyes accidentally drifting to the text of the article if you want to be spoiler-free. Scroll below Daphne at your peril...

A long time ago, sometime around 1912, a director by the name of D.W. Griffith packed up his filmmaking wares and took his crew, including favored cinematographer Billy Bitzer and star Mae Marsh, across the water to a relatively mysterious island off the Southern California coast to shoot a short film. The project, Man’s Genesis, subtitled A Psychological Comedy Founded upon the Darwinian Theory of the Evolution of Man (Is that Woody Allen I hear whimpering with envy?), isn’t one for which Griffith is well remembered, in the hearts of either academics or those given to silent-era nostalgia. (One comment on IMDb suggests that no one would ever mistake Griffith’s simple tale of a landmark of human development—man discovers his ability to craft and use tools in order to achieve a specific goal-- for “a serious work of speculative anthropology” and wonders “what the director and his...

October 27th 2009 was a day that I imagine very few people saw coming. This was the day that Tna Wrestling, a company that has long been a very distant number two wrestling promotion who are very much in the background compared to the monolith that is WWE – announced they had signed The biggest professional wrestler in the business, Hulk Hogan.
Now of course Hogan was way beyond actually wrestling anything aside from maybe a very rare match with very few bumps taken, but his presence clearly would attract a whole new audience to the Tna product wouldn’t it? See Tna had been trying to raise awareness for their product for many years. Usually they seemed to try and accomplish this by trying to attract former WWE wrestlers and hoping they would help them get over the 1.0 ratings hump that they’d been stuck with seemingly forever. They tried with Christian,...

On Thursday morning, February 28, I found CNN featuring a continuous shot of a helicopter. The network cut between a close-up and a distant dot. It was Benedict, flying from the Vatican City. This was extraordinary attention for an ordinary cardinal, because as Benedict told the throng awaiting him, "I am no longer Pope." I am not a scholar of Catholic history, but I believe we were witnessing the first time the Papal throne was vacant while an elected Pope was alive.
"This no one can deny," wise Sister Rosanne told us during the 8 am theology class that began every day at St. Mary's Grade School. "The Church is the oldest continuously functioning institution in human history, and the Popes go back in an unbroken chain to St. Peter's blessing at the hand of Jesus." That was one reason people of all faiths or none desired an audience with the Pope.

In this week’s edition of Tna Impact Wrestling, we are set to encounter the fallout from last week’s wedding fiasco. After Tazz’s shocking decision to join the Aces and Eights, the group gatecrashed the wedding and proceeded to take out every person in site, and forced Brooke Hogan to watch both her father and her fiancee Bully Ray get beaten down by the rebellious bandits. Also, there will be two championship matches, as Velvet Sky challenges Tara for the Knockouts Championship, and Jeff Hardy defends his World Heavyweight Championship against Christopher Daniels.
Tazz Speaks Out On His Betrayal
Tazz walks out to the ring accompanied by his Aces and Eights brethren, and begins to address the questions as to why he joined their group. In his reasoning, he mentions his thrill of being supported and guided by a higher power, which indicates that somebody particularly famous in...

As reported by Calvin earlier this week, the Daleks are due back in the next series of Doctor Who. Apparently, it's not just your run-of-the-mill Dalek return either – no sir, the production team are apparently bringing back a range of past Dalek types. For instance, a promotional picture has been issued featuring what appears to be a '60s era Dalek posing with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan – Gillan incidentally appears to have been snapped in the middle of practising some weird sci-fi Tai Chi.
And in fact, thinking about it, the prospect of bringing back the deadly pepperpots does raise a few issues. The problem with the Daleks is that their iconic status can lead to that small feeling of disappointment if their latest story falls short of expectations. There has been a string of Dalek classics over the years – Genesis Of The Daleks. The Evil Of The Daleks.

Bradley Rubenstein: Tell me a little more about your background. I know you have moved around a lot. Where are you originally from? What made you decide to become an artist?
Pia Lindman: I am originally from Finland. After high school I studied architecture in Helsinki, and in six months I realized that neither my fellow students nor the professors were concerned with making environments more livable or with simply facilitating happiness.

Tna Impact Wrestling!

This weeks Impact begins with Sting coming to the ring. I love how no matter what other clothes hes wearing he never forgets his skeleton gloves. I once knew a Goth like that. Sting calls out another man reliving his teenage years, Jeff Hardy. If he ever left them that is. Sting tells him hes been impressed lately. Jeff Hardys face is half painted, half not. Sting says he once took his second chance and made something of it, just like Jeff Hardy is now. “There’s creatures out there that adore you and look up to you.” Some of his fans are definitely creatures. Hardy chant amongst them now as Sting gives Jeff his full 100% Endorsement. This brings out Roode, Angle and Bully Ray. They get in the ring and call him out on endorsing Jeff Hardy and that not being fair and square. He accuses...

Back from a short hiatus with this Impact recap and Tonight Sting has given us a World Heavyweight Title Rematch to open the show!
Tna World Title Match
Five Minute Overtime Rematch from Final Resolution
Aj Styles vs. Robert Roode (Champion)
Is it just me or does everyone’s entrance in Tna start with that tilted camera long shot? Here’s our five minutes on the clock and Roode immediately tries to run down the clock by getting out of there. Styles follows him out and rolls him back in, covering him with a cross body. Hard whips and a back body drop. This match is One fall, not Iron Man like at the PPV. They exchange side headlocks and kick outs. Aj Rolls him up for two. We’re at three minutes left and Roode wants a time out. Ref for some reason holds Aj back,...

Japan is here to supply your daily does of strange with the first trailer for Suzune: Genesis x Evolution.Adapted from a popular manga by Aruki, Suzune stars Rei Yoshii as a doctor - you can tell because she wears a lab coat over her bondage gear - fighting against an invasion of parasites that invade the human body, increasing their strength and the strength of their sexual desires. Cold Fish and Guilty Of Romance star Megumi Kagurazaka plays the villain with Ryu Kaneda directing. I'm not sure what the point of the frog is.It's high class all the way here, folks. I’d love to see this sort of TV spot get some airtime here in the States. It would never happen, as the tentacle sex imagery would cause a hardcore national frenzy on an epic scale. Below you’ll find the aforementioned clip in all its glory, though, to be honest, it really doesn’t offer up anything you didn’t see in the full trailer we posted not too long ago. Still, if you have any interest in “Suzune Genesis X Evolution”, chances are you’ll get a kick out this. Take a gander if you have a moment. The film opens in Japan on December 3rd,...

When your body is filled to bursting with all sorts of erotic parasites, the only person that can save you is Doctor Suzune, a curvy little medical professional who specializes in such things. The embedded trailer — which is not safe for work, by the way — features all sorts of hentai-style imagery, something I’ve never really stomach. To each his own, I guess. The most interesting aspect of Ryu Kaneda’s adaptation of “Parasite Doctor Suzune” is how the it will be distributed. Instead of one feature, the film will be effectively split down the middle. “Suzune Genesis”, the first installment, will arrive in Japanese theaters on November 12, 2011. “Suzune Evolution”, meanwhile, is scheduled to hit on December 3rd, 2011. How they can split this sort of swill into two separate full-length features is beyond me. I honestly can’t imagine that the script has more than 85 minutes worth of materials. Tops.

Your brow begins to sweat. "Who are these second-raters," you cry out, disturbing those seated around you, "and what have they done with the real X-Men?...
