The Square
Elisabeth Moss ("Mad Men") and Danish actors Claes Bang and Christopher Laesso have signed on to star in "Force Majeure" director Ruben Ostlund's new darkly humorous drama "The Square" which is set against the backdrop of the international art world. Erik Hemmendorff is producing the film which will shoot from June to October in Sweden and Berlin. [Source: THR]
Plus One
SNL alum Cecily Strong is attached to star opposite Jessica Chastain in Patrick Brice's comedy "Plus One". Chastain plays a single woman who realizes she has limited choices in girlfriends who can join her on the single's scene because all of her close friends are married or about to be. She finds an unlikely wingman – or should that be wingwoman - in Strong's loud, sexually uninhibited livewire. [Source: Deadline]

Posing for the snap just like their sitcom forebears, the new cast do their very best versions of Walmington-on-Sea's finest.
Here below are the original team, on the BBC set - not as flashy, perhaps, but still the best.
Playing the pompous Captain Mainwaring, Toby Jones previously spoke to Digital Spy about his worries taking on the project.
"It was fun," he explained. "It was really nerve-wracking. It was one of those jobs where you go, 'No, that's a terrible idea, I don't want anything to do with that, thank you very much'."
However, Jones added: "They sent [Hamish McColl's] script - it was really good. I thought it balanced honouring the old by putting them in a new situation.
"And when I saw who else was cast in it,...
