Overall, the season was fun and entertaining. I have learned well, however, that Marvel Studios can't really land their Disney+ endings. Boy, was I surprised by this finale!
No point going into details. It's all pure emotion and empathy for all the characters involved. Also, Loki basically went full Rick & Morty here. Great fun.
The one thing that really bothers me now, however, is how incredibly diverse in quality phases 4 and 5 have been. The Loki finale released almost exactly at the same time as The Marvels. The last few entries caused so much hate that nobody seems to remember that stuff like No Way Home, Werewolf by Night, Guardians 3 are all post-Endgame.
I genuinely fear that the audiences will ignore content like Loki 2 from now on and we will not have the opportunity to witness what kind of awesomeness this series could possibly be followed by, and what kind of fruit we could eat from this new World Tree.
Also, Jonathan Majors is so_damn_good in this. I cannot imagine this man to possibly be recast. What. A. Freaking. Shame.
