Warning: Spoilers
At first, you try and figure out what's going on. At first glance, Weir appears to be in the process of manipulating the price of a stock for a previous work associate. After this happens, everything goes south.

Weir is soon the suspect for a murder charge and his office is blown up. The FBI is after him along with whoever set him up. It's a cat mouse episode with Weir on the run trying to figure out who set him up and who all is behind it.

Lot of intrigue and mystery behind what's going as each scene moves at a rapid pace. Weir kidnaps a chance encounter of a woman he had a one night stand the day before after she is almost kidnapped by some rogue actors.

This is a great start to a series.

A good start to a show that at first seemed a bit like Leverage and then turned into Person of Interest and then turned into any thriller show where you get a million twists a minute. Revealing that the Official did not die already is a bit too much for the premiere, but what can you do.

This could certainly be an entertaining show, but I worry that a million twists a minute mindset will derail things quickly.

I also feel the quick wit style is not really natural for Kiefer Sutherland. He can tell jokes, but a joke-y character does not seem to be natural for him at all, but maybe that will change as the show progresses.

A good start.

Rabbit Hole's pilot has a good start. A brake from today's fill in the check boxes woke show. Rabbit Hole is more a retro show of 70's con man shows like The RockFord files, Switch, The Sting movie , but with modern world of A I twists and Spy Craft. A freshness iss lacking in today's tired generic T V! John Weir (Keiffer Sutherland) is a character driven plot. Many of the flashback scenes resemble the 70's classic Marathon Man movie of Weir's childhood. There is modern Rockford style cons, which mix with Tom Cruise Mission Impossible meeting with the security agency. There is the big 70's T V plot twist which I saw coming which starts off what could be an entertaining series. Let's see what episode two is like. 7 out of 10 stars.

Was not expecting that

Pleasantly surprised on how good this episode was. After so many TV series and watching si many pilots that don't push you to continue watching this was the opposite!

I was just on the edge of my seat most of the time thinking that I knew what was coming and for my surprise the story kept developing I was really into it.

Let's hope the series keep this momentum going and we keep getting these type of series that keep the public intrigued with great writing and acting.

I was excited watching this as I was back in the day with 24 and Jack Bauer, big Keith fan, let's see where this road take us.

Kiefer Sutherland plays John Weir. He is some kind of a paranoid freelance espionage operative for hire. He gets involved in corporate shenanigans such as driving down share prices so someone else can pick them up cheaply.

A kind of a Robin Hood figure as he has some kind of code of ethics. He is targeting rich corporations who are pitted against each other. What money they lose, they will probably make it back soon after. A cynical take.

The episode begins with Weir want to deflate the ego of some arrogant hedge fund manager. Weir fixed it so he sells off an erectile dysfunction medication as it causes cancer.

His crack team are hired to take some kind of incriminating photos of a Treasury Agent accepting something from a rival conglomerate. It all goes smoothly.

So far Rabbit Hole plays like the Leverage or Hustle. You just need to remember that the show opened with a desperate Weir in the confessional box.

By the end of the episode it is Weir who is the mark. Maybe it is all like the David Fincher movie, The Game. The conspiracy is on him.
