Takayuki Yamada, the star of Crows Zero, Mirokurôze and Lesson of the Evil, flashes his stern look again with a crime film titled Kyoaku (The Devil's Path). Directed by Kazuya Shiraishi as his second feature-length film, The Devil's Path will deal with the triangular relationship of three masterminds. Death-row inmate Sudo (Pierre Taki) sends a letter to magazine reporter Fujii (Takayuki Yamada). In his letter, he states that a man named Kimura (Lily Franky), also known as "teacher" committed numerous murders for insurance money. While checking out the story, based on Sudo's tip, Fujii becomes convinced that the letter is correct. But a lot of time has passed since the incidents and Sudo's testimony isn't clear. The 12th Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival, New Delhi (27 July to 5 August 2012) will open with Japanese director Keiichi Sato’s “Asura” and close with Rituparno Ghosh’s “Chitragandha”.
Festival announced its competition lineup and highlights on Wednesday.
According to the official press release the festival will present 15 World premieres, 8 International premieres, 104 Indian premieres and 13 Asian premieres from China, Estonia, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Japan, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Morocco and Algeria among other Asian and Arab countries.

The team of Nippon Connection has announced the full program for the 11th edition of the Japanese film festival. Despite the current events in Japan, the festival will take place in Frankfurt from April 27th to Mai 1st.
