Production has started on The Last Demonslayer, described as "a mix of horror and adventure very much inspired by many of the genre movies from the 80s."
It's being directed by Chilean-born, Danish-based genre director Shaky Gonzales, whose previous works include Angel of the Night and The Grey Gold.
The film is written by Gonzales and Lars Detlefsen and produced by Mikkel Kristensen and Gabrielle Uweis.
The cast includes David Sakurai (Tour de Force, Through Darkness), Daniell Edwards (Pistoleros, Westbrick Murders), Hector Vega Mauricio (Angel of the Night, Pistoleros), Erik Holmey (Conan The Barbarian, Red Sonja), Kim Sønderholm (Little Big Boy, Sinister Visions) and Maja Muhlack (Bleed With Me, The Horror Vault) as the evil Succubus the entire movie revolves around.
The film is now shooting outside Copenhagen, Denmark, but later this year will be in various Us locations, including Death Valley.

The filmmakers just informed us the title is The Last Demonslayer, not The Last Dragonslayer!
The latest Danish genre feature to raise its head is The Last Demonslayer, from director Shaky González. There are no demons on view in the first batch of photos sent out, but there is a heavy torture/horror vibe. Check ’em out after the jump.
