Sex & Nudity

  • The film revolves around issues of gender identity and how it is perceived by peers and by parents.
  • An 11-year-old girl and her younger sister have a bath together., where the little girl has a brief top exposure and her sister is seen from the front.
  • During the bath scene with her sister, an 11-year-old girl is shown completely nude for a matter of seconds as she gets out the bath, showing her undeveloped chest and bald vulva.
  • None adult nudity whatsoever. Children shouldn't be counted.
  • Several boys playing football stop to urinate by the side of the field. They turn their backs to the camera so nothing is seen.

Violence & Gore

  • Some kiddie gore: kids talk about having eaten boogers and tasted pee when they were little. One kid chews another kid's used gum. We see kids spit on the ground a couple of times. We see pants that pee spilled on.
  • Two children are shown fighting, with one child repeatedly punching the other. The children are young, so not very strong, and there is no blood.
  • A mother slaps her child across the face.

Profanity

  • One use of "damn" ("putain" in French).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A father lets his daughter take a sip of beer.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A silent confrontation between two friends is intensely uncomfortable.
  • Dangerous imitable behavior: a child sitting on its father's lap, only the father wearing a seat belt, drives a car in town.
  • A child is shown experiencing intense shame.
  • A mother is upset with her child and they argue briefly. Very mildly upsetting.
