With the season wrapped up this episode leaves us with a lot of open ends and exciting narratives that could be explored in a possible next season.
This show isn't groundbreaking by any means and it can be a bit cringe at times, but overall it is a solid story that kept me hooked. What really helps this show is that the emotional scenes aren't forced and that "dead parents" isn't Jackie's only personality trait. There are so many characters and stories that are well written and intriguing. It kinda reminds me of sex ed with al the different story lines and a main love triangle. But I hope it doesn't end in the same way because the last season of sex ed was awful.
Btw: Jackie pulled a weak move by just bailing after she screwed over Alex with Cole. I don't care who ends up with who but it was an awful thing to do. By both of them. I suspect that Cole wil end up her after his "redemption arc". But I hope my boy Alex doesn't get done dirty by the writers. He deserves better. He'll probably end up with Kailee I guess. But that's just guessing.
Excited for season 2.
