I enjoyed this episode , it really captured Owen's past and why he was angry and finally ended in knowing he was not to blame for his younger brother's death , it was just an accident and he held it inside for 38 years, his dad felt ashamed all those years and never spoke to him as he should have but ran away instead, eventually getting remarried. Cameo's really made this episode stand out , his dad Robert Pine from Chips , who also is Chris Pine's dad, his dad's 2nd wife Constance Towers who will be 89 in a few weeks who was married to John Gavin and star of movies and soap's, his own brother Chad who directs episodes of the show , that was nice to see them act together. Then the last scene where Owen takes his surfing board out , where his brother died to do a few waves in memory and closure .

Owen's rage storyline hasn't been my favorite and him going to see his dad seemed like it would be so boring. I love this 9-1-1 franchise because every episode feels like a headliner. No waiting 5, 6, 7 episodes for something crazy to happen. This episode didn't have any of the house firefighting storylines in it and it may one of my favorites now. I'm shocked. This one just hit different.

Bleh. Episode felt different but not in good way. The flashback sequence felt too conveneint, and ending was abrupt. Life isn't so easy. Or it does not for me! I missed the action from the other episodes that are normal to every week. This felt too simple. I do love Judd adn think hes great. Even tho the pictures were pretty some times, I just don't care. 2 much Lifetime. Give me back the real 911 LS. Booorrrrinnnnggggg.

This was a great show. Now is a pastiche family drama without any sense. Why the hell this show wont go back to 911 calls, with the heroic 911 center saving peoples lifes and the fire department also? I don't care about Owen's father or Judd's son and their psychological problems. This season started with excellent episodes. These last episode suck. Relearn how to write, or please end the show for good.

What has this show become? May as well call it Days of Our Lives or something similar...
If the producers want to make a show about other aspects of life, they should go do it, maybe no one will watch and stick with a show about a fire station and the daily emergencies.
Maybe a little behind the scenes like Chicago PD or S. W. A. T, but not the whole show from start to finish!!!
